A fantastic piece of driving there from Sato.
[/sarcasm]
What the hell is his problem? He also almost ran over his jack man in the pits. What is he doing in F1?

And Jacques almost took out Alonso! My two least favorite drivers, Jacques and Sato, and they're doing some damage today. So, it looks like Alonso is playing it safe.

Fisi is out, and that means the constructor points are looking good for Mc/Merc. I wish Fisi was a more consistant racer.

Kimi is faster than JPM, but is still in third place behind him and R. Schumacher.

I reckon Ralf Schumacher's might even win this one. Montoya's got to think of the Constructor's championship (not that he usually thinks when he's racing) today. Ralf's not got a lot to lose so if it starts raining again and Ralf's setup comes more into effect I think he'll breeze by Montoya.

It looks like R Schumi got Trulli's car again. I bet he passes JPM real soon.

Jacques is getting in the way of Button, who now just past him. Great, but risky, move by Button.

I still don't think it should be "investigated by the stewards"... it was a mistake and those happen in races, don't take it further just because it was on Schumi.

A decent move from Button there but it wasn't as brave or spectacular as it looked. Ok, he went around the outside, but he forced Villeneuve off the dry line, so Button was on dry tarmac whilst Villeneuve was on the wet tarmac

OMG, what luck. Montoya is out! Alonso to second, for two more points, and now the constructors points are more secure for Renault.

Wow, what a race. Such crazy accidents today.

wtf, Monteiro got 8th and Villeneuve got 6th? I think this is a sign of the end of the world...

Seriously though, my hat goes off to Monteiro, 8th place in a crap car on a tough circuit in the wet is impressive. Great race, very entertaining.

Pizzonia is going to suffer for that, even if it wasn´t his fault. But still a good race.

I think the title will be decided here. :D

Good race. Congratulations to Button and Monterio, both had great races. Fisi was doing well too until he binned it at Eau Rouge. Mclaren just can't get that one-two for love nor money.

Montoya was on inters and Pizzonia was on slicks/grooves. Montoya had right rear suspension damage and Pizzonia's left front wheel was hanging off. Although we didn't see exactly what happened, I think it's safe to assume Pizzonia was several seconds a lap quicker than Montoya and was trying to overtake up the inside into Fagnes, when Monoya probably closed the door (and forced Pizzonia to run into him). Montoya should have let Pizzonia through. Someone on inters trying to keep someone on slicks/grooves behind when there's 6/7/8 seconds a lap between them is dangerous

PIZZONIA YOU BOOB!!!!!
Ron Dennis must be furious.
He didn't go get his constructors trophy. He was to busy smacking Pizzonia around. That's going to cost him some money, since the FIA isn't going to like it.

EDIT: That's not getting the trophy, but they don't care what he does to Pizzonia. Heh...

damnit, when I saw a Renault go off into the tyres I was praying that it was Alonso so Kimi could get a good amount of points on him but NO! it wasnt, and to make things worse Montoya gets in a tangle with a Williams and goes off, AGAIN!

 i gotta put that in my sig... thats priceless..

glad you liked it. :sly:

great race for button! bar now finaly has scored points at spa. good job!

sato, you little... :dunce:

that whole thing about that being investigated is more likly to be them looking into ms slaping sato on the head after rather then the actual crash.

good job monteiro! if you car wasnt powered by hondas evil arch enemy toyota i'd be even happier for you...

the crash that took out montoya wasnt his fault. pizzonia had just come out of the pits with dry weather tires on and couldnt stop so he slid into montoya.

Yet again Pizzona proves why he shouldn't be driving an F1 car (or any car for that matter). Sato missed his brake zone while racing for position, boneheaded yes, but given the conditions one can understand. Pizzona just drove over one of the race leaders when he was well back. More boneheaded in my opinion. Why Williams keeps him around I'll never know. Then again it is Williams....

Nice drive by Kimi. Equally good by JPM. Toyota had a good day though they blew it in the pits taking Ralf out (though I am sure the tires was his call) and I still don't know what happened to Trulli (though I will assume he lost it under braking).

I'd hate to be Fisi tonight. I wonder who Flavio will get to finish the final three races (hahaha.).

Again Alonso prvied why he deserves the title this year. He has really matured into a steady, calm, focused and disciplined race driver. Kimi may be the faster of the two but I think Alonso has come of age this season.

Button lucked into 3rd, big time...but good for me as I had BAR this week for my fantasy F1.

Monterio...should be proud of this drive. He earned that point, unlike Indy and should celebrate.

Ferrari....ummm, I think it is obvious that it is now MORE than just the tires, the car has issues as well. Though how Ferrari could blow it so hard this year I don't know. I guess it is too comfortable at the top.

Good race, I don't ever remember seeing a full race in wet tires before.

Also it was great to see tire changing in the pits again!!!!

I just sad for Massa. He could´ve been in the podium if he didn´t try to run on dry tires so soon.

Great race IMO.

Button did well to recover form his double pit stop.

Sato was his usual foolish self. Schumacher should get done for assault though :D What is it with him getting agressive at Spa? :p

Raikonnen strong drive, even though he was gifted the lead by having JPM pitting first yet again.

Alonso on anotehr strong, safe drive. Good man.

Did you see this happening or are you hypothesizing?

The fact that Webber was 8 seconds quicker than the leader when he went on to the grooved tyres hardly suggests Webber was having problems slowing down on the grooved tyres (if Webber wasn't having a problem why should Pizzonia?)

That was a fun race, full of incidents.

The Montoya/Pizzonia accident i think we cannot blame on anyone yet as there is no footage, once again though the 1-2 has been snatched away from them by some careless driving.

Kimi drove a pretty bland race untill the second stops when he suddenly just ignited into pace and controlled the race.

Alonso had a quiet race aswell just being conservative in a poor handling car, his little battle with Klien was pretty entertaining though.

Button drove a great race in the 2nd half, at first it seemed liek a re-run of Monza where he simply did not have pace, but after the first pit stop he drove a great race with 2 awesome moves, the first round the outside of JV and the 2nd up the inside of Rubens (big credit to both who kept the minds clear and did not do anything stupid)

Webber was nowhere untill he made a truly great decition to try drys at the right time and made great pace at other drivers expense.

Rubens was also very quiet untill the race exploded into action round the 2nd pit stops and then drove a smart final section to get a nice haul of points.

RS was amazingly fast in the first and 2nd stints but then made the worse decition he could make and totally went out of the picture for the rest of the race.

Monteiro, what an amazing feat!! He has still continued to finish every race and has kept out of the whole load of trouble that there was in the mid field during the race, surely this guy deserves a seat next year?

Sato/MS shunt was commedy if anything, i wonder what MS said to Sato..

It was a nice race, not the best of the season btu was pretty intresting.

Bee's driver of the day (because Martin is usually wrong): Monteiro, he quite simply drove such a mature race in his first time round the place, in wet conditions.

because webber is a better driver then pizzonia. i think i saw some replay of the crash. clearly he did run into the back of him.

monteiro does need a seat next year. he has done a great job this year.

First you saw Pizzonia in the back of Montoya yes, but you haven't seen what Montoya had to play in it.

Also I don't see how everyone gets the opinion that Webber is such a good driver. I understand he did well before F1 but he seems to be in collisions just as much as Sato tends to blow his engine.

Well he did get a Jag of all things on the front row..

Mannnnnnnnn montoya keeps working against kimi its sooooo annoying that alonso is so lucky all the time.

I feel sorry for Sato though he probably wanted to cry when he crashed yet again.

Montoya has done a few questionable moves this year but today he just got cought out by Pizzonia. Totally unacceptable in my opinion since P was a lap down and Mc Laren are fighting for the Championship. People should be double-careful when they dice with a Renault or a Mc-Laren at this stage of the Championship!!
First Montoya abandoned the lead to Kimi by an earlier pitstop and then he was just taken out pretty much the same way Sato took MS out so I feel a bit sorry for him. Another steady performance by Alonso who's now just one podiumfinish short of taking the title. Fisico was making up for his penalty and had passed quite a few cars until he lost it at eau rouge, thankfully he's OK. Ralf was fighting for the lead when he was very much on the pace with the two Mclarens yet they took the very regrettable decision to go for dry-weathertires wich messed up his chances of a high score. Jacques Villeneuve had the biggest slide ( and recovery) of the year when he went absolutely sideways at the right-hand bend at eau rouge and managed to keep it on the road without even losing much speed. All in all another very enteraining GP. and offtopic big congrats to Kim for winning the US-open 👍 👍 👍

Holy Crap. I just heard them say Ralf makes 23mil compared to Trulli's 9. WTF is wrong with
Toyota?
