Best buyable: Honda NSX Type-R or Mercedes CLK 55 (i can't win these without entering their competitions),most other cars are winnable upto the professional league.
Best Winnable: Nissan R-390 Racing car,any car that can lap a F1 car has to be good...my current fav.
Best overall: Nissan R-390 Racing car or Polyphony F1 car,outright speed and tyre durability against best handling and good turn of speed,i prefer the Nissan.

I was highly impressed with the Mustang SVT Cobra. For the money, it did quite well. The Skyline R34 Vtech II (or whatever the high end Skyline is ...) was pretty impressive too, but cost a bit more than the Mustang. I haven't played with the 3000GTs yet, so I don't even know how they perform.

Best winnable car? How about the one you get for winning the game? F094/S of course! It's like a rocket on rails.

I might give the ZZII another try.To be fair to it when i tried racing with the car,the setup i had wasn't very good.

Yes the F1 cars are much faster and grippier, but you are limited by what you can do. The 787B can thrash everything but an F1 in series races and would beat one on an endurance.

Can you only buy the viper in the US version? I didn't realise, all my race cars I won Best car I bought was the RUF RGT although the Lancer Evo VII is what really got me going in the game.

Well, the 787B is my favorite, but that doesn't mean it's the best. The GT-One Race Car is quite competetive, and the R390 LM Race Car does pretty well too.

Those three are pretty much the best non-F1 cars in the game ... unless I'm forgetting something ...

Well I am kinda impartial to the Ford GT40 race car, but I am in the works of winning it. I may use it later on, then I can give an update on how it runs for me. I have the 787, and I love it also. I will soon have the GT-One and the R390 Race Car, just a matter of time

i've never heard anyone on this forum mention better braking ........you obviously appreciate F1 and you are quite right .....the 787B is the best car other than the formula 1 cars ........it is slightly better than the toyota and nissan mainly due to its lower weight and we all know weight is your biggest enemy in racing (more inertia)

i like the r390 but the tires on 787b last way longer then the other cars so it gives you an advantage in endurance and long races where you need to pit.
