actually..When you buy a different hinge kit..you're not trying to make your car look like a lamborghini..

You're making your cars doors hinge differently from most of the other people who own that car...

Individuality is a bad thing now with cars?

Wow this has really let me down, I thought people in the automotive forum would respect this....

Lambo did it to their cars FOR individuality..
Now bringing that sense to other cars is a bad thing?

Well someoen tell AMG,imola, saleen, hamann, mugen, amuse, vielside, cosworth, koenig, brabus, TRD, and every other aftermarket performance company that offers body modification that they are wrong and fools for doing it....the morons!

Thank god someone is here to back me up on this, i totally agree Driftster! 👍

Lambo only! Damn it! :grumpy:

Research helps before you speak, Lambo was not the first.

YEAH BABY!!

Look guys scissor doors can look good on most cars if executed properly. So if say I decide to put some lambo doors on say a e46 320ci you would take the piss out of me as I park up next to your hatch and lift open my doors?

For those who say that scissor doors on average cars make the lambos look less spectactular your missing the whole point. Even if lambo doors didnt go up its the rest of the car which will still make it look great.

Man....it seems these were just 1 thing that helped Lamborghini become a bit more successful. Sad part is, most idiots don't know that the doors did not start on the Diablo, but the Countach.

Even worse, Lamborghini did a gullwing door long before a scissor door came along.

It's hard to roll a Lamborghini Diablo on public roads. It's easy to roll a VW Golf on public roads (as a friend of mine did when he clipped a grass bank at 40mph in a 60mph limit).

Now, you try getting out of an upside-down Golf with scissor doors.

Less extreme? Try it in a multi-storey car park.

Hell, they're nearly impossible to get in and out of on a clear, flat parking lot with nothing overhead and the car sitting on all four wheels.

Substance > style, always and forever.

This is the first I've seen a "Lambo" kit on a 4 dr. I mean 4 doors.
I defy you to get in and out of that Protege without a trip to the Emergency Room following immediately after.
