Something with throttle-on oversteer. And something that is rear heavy. But coincidentally, those both go together.


LS is just a bunch of near-90 degree turns. If you can take a wide arc, and your car has the ability to pull around under acceleration half-way thru the turn then you'll be pulling very fast laps. The corkscrew also needs something with a heavy back end with loads of traction. A slight fish tail on the corkscrew will send you packing. You need to power down it under 100% throttle to take advantage of the downhill advantage. Going down the corksrew, your car seems to accelerate twice as fast as normal.

True. It also helps to go one gear higher than you would if the corkscrew was a level chicane.
