Best Car to start with

What is te best car to start with at the begining

I reckon and everyone that I know used the mazda MX-5 the older style. I think is 18.??? credits or somthing like that

I'd like to start out with that, but I just don't like Arcade that much to beet it right away... But if you want the best car to start out with, use either that, or get golds on a License series(Rally if you want to start out with a rally car, or the S license if you want to start out with the best road racing car)...

What's better, the S-license reward or the Corvette from Arcade?(I've never gotten all golds on a license, and I forgot the prize list, so I don't know what all of the rewards are, sorry)

on my friends machine, we started with the miata. We then proceded to win so many miatas that my ears started bleeding. So on my machine, I tried a trueno. The miata from what I recall was a little better, but there are not a lot of choices starting out. Just go with one until you win something a little better. If you can, get another memory card, then you can change back and forth depending on your mood, then later on buy cars from one card or the other.

Sry I used the Trueno which lead to my Mustang SVT, then the Skyline, then the PANOZ and then i got the GS2 and then PS2 Sharkport.

Trueno is the best or it might be my driving.

Get gold on your Rally tests, then complete all the Rally races. This is absolutely the best way to start the game because it gives you all the killer rally cars and a nice starter wad. Use the rally cars to get more prize cars and you're good to go. I'm racing with an F1 car in Professional mode and haven't bought a car or touched Beginner or Amateur yet.

Then the only problem, really, is that those two aren't any fun! You might as well just do Arcade and get the GOAL, then start out with the Corvette racer

I could have sworn you do! I remember getting 2 Corvettes without having to do tournies for them. One was for something like the 75%, the other was for completing the Arcade part vs the 5 computers.

Are you in the UK or sum thing(it might be different)? I know you get a corvette for 50%. I just completed arcade mode(except for time trials) and you only get the two ending movies. You can win an esparante(don't know exact spelling) for time trials but that's it.

Trueno is got to be a really good car to start wit its cheap and ahs got deacent hp.

I made the mistake of starting out with the PT Cruiser....
No regrets though, i think it made me a better driver (more challenging). You can also equip NA and TURBO, so i used it to win both races.

Duo, if you equip one, doesn't it unequip the other? That's how it is in the Miata. I started out with the New Beetle2.0, and that was a good start, a little slow, but nothing to complain about.

tbt003, Welcome to GTP! The only reason why I didn't BUY a Miata was because I just hate em. They don't look as good, and they're not American or German owned.

if you have game shark the corvette c5r is the best car to start w/, if you dont have gameshark a Sprinter Trueno would be the best

I think the PT is the only American car you can start with, because it's the only one that fits the original credit budget.

Yeah, it is But you could always go with Germany. The Beetle fits the budget, and you can use it for a bunch of cups later on, like the Beetle Cup challenges, turbo, but I think the 4WD is for the more expensive Beetle.

Yeah, I have no problem with German cars, it's those Japanese cars that I don't like that much.

some strange reason.. the game calles it the ar86... but then in the car specs.. look @ the engine.. its ae85.. i think
iono.. but i saw somewhere that they mentioned that the Trueno GTapex is actually a 85, not 86... however, to my knowledge, the AE85 is levin and 86 is Trueno

am i wrong?
