Great idea. I would love to see this game in action. Also if anyone has, or can make, a vid of any other drifting games they prefer. I am dying to find a really good drifting game besides GT3. ;)
 
initial d is a freaking awesome game. its not very real but it is incredible fun. although, you can drift in only some cars, it isnt really as artistic (i guess you could say) as the drifting in granturismo.

but yeah, get a fat stack and go out and play it sometime.

I'm the guy at the street races that shut's down big mouth's like yourself, and your buddy S.D.

The difference between you guy's and myself is, I don't have to talk myself up to something I'm not. The invitation I gave to S.D is open to you as well.

And it's kids like you drift260z, that are bringing down the drifting scene. Oh well, it's just another thing for the cops to harass us "legit" drivers about.

this drifting fourm revolves around videogames, its make-believe, childish attitudes are not welcome, your right, but driving in gt3 is the next best thing to real life, a substitute for something that most of us probably cant do. gettinga licsence over here costs 300,000Y, about $2995 USD registrations costs upwards of 1400USD, so what do we do? well, play videogames.

i get the impression your more into your car in real life than VG's anyway.

theres good money in it that you once had a blast dreaming about a new car and playing games, at some point the fun stops ...we'all will get there someday :)

Also, I think it's funny your getting bent about "showboating", and Talking yourself up", when you keep inviting us, to come see you in action. You are the only one doing any showboating. Thanks for the Battle Gear 2 vid.👍 It looks like a lot of fun IMO. The gameplay looks great. I think I may have to get BG3 when it comes out. ;)

Try to do the Ferrari F355 challenge. An added clutch makes a whole world of difference.

its all because of a fruity movie call Fast and the Furios.


some people were influeneced by this movie( freestyling got more popular cuz of 8 mile) .

so since they were influenced they did street racing. then the cops got mad since a lot of people died. and now we got tracks to race at....so why street race... its just an ego booster.... if u want to race and max out your car with race mileage i say do it at the track. if u want to kill ppl and lose your car and your parts ..go ahead and street race...

Actually, last I checked in any clique, it's the walking, talking, living sticks of testosterone and wiseass comments that bring down any 'scene'...

Well said. If anything destroys the drift scene it will be things like this, arguments between people who think they're better than others, when in fact they're both making themselves look stupid and they're the only ones who don't realize it. This argument started over a debate of opinions on games, was it really necessary to take it to this level? Do you really think your life will be any different if people on this forum respect you or not? Stop caring so much about what others think. Drifting is not about image, if you're here to make a name for yourself then you're fake just like the rest, and you are contributing to this scene's destruction. That includes you, Monkey D and especially Monster7 for elevating it to the personal level for no reason.

That's all I'm saying. I'm just not happy with TXR3, that's all. I didn't expect to get jumped on for it, and my age, affiliation, and sanity to be questioned, over such a small matter. ;)

LOL, thanks for a bit of levety. BTW, just to clear things up, I am 23, I drift in GT3 (not real life), I own a 91 Jetta GLI (used to have an S13, blew the engine, sold it for parts), and I am proud to be a member of Monkey D, we have some of the best drifters around on our team. Anyway, now that the arguing is over, we can get back to topic. I still say GT3 is with out a doubt the most realistic, and satisfying game for drifting. ;)

I agree. GT3 is definitely the best drifting game out right now. GT4 will almost definitely take that crown when it comes out though.

Agreed, I don't think anyone even tries anymore. Why try to make a driving simulator? It'll just be the exact same game as GT3, except maybe the MENU SYSTEM could be done a little better (Preview anyone? NO DAMMIT!). I still don't understand why most game companies don't even bother to try to make a decent menu system... why can't all menus be designed by Blizzard?

I wish the menu system was more like GT2, IMO. I have no doubt that they have addressed the menu problem in GT4. I have personally sent e-mails to Polyphony. I am also a member of the gamer advidory panel for Playstation, so I wrote to them about it as well. Hopefully others have done the same, so we can have an easy to navigate menu. I'm tired of it taking forever to setup a car, just because I have to hit "OK" 4 times before it will let me install the part. ;)
