what is it then, the best ever, there are plenty to choose from.

i think its close between F1 challenge andGP4 both on PC, i would go for F1C over it though as it has much more within.

Best F1 game I have ever played is Grand Prix Challenge for PS2, the AI is incredible when handling and difficulty is set to expert. My PC is not set up for gaming so I can't play any of the PC Games, but I have played all of the other ps2 games and nothing compares to Gran Prix Challenge, its amazing.

all i have is F1 Championship Season 2000. EA sports.

F1 Championship edition 1996 season for the playstation1 by Psygnosis and bizzare creations. That's the game that made me purchase a playstation1, the same way Sega rally made me purchase a Sega Saturn.
Guess what: I still play it once in a while. The car handling is just right, not too difficult but not too arcadish either. And of course who would forget Murray Walker.
Ah the good old days, when Villeneuve was so arrogant that he even refused to have Psygnosis use his name, so he was "Williams driver one" lol.
The only F1 game I have on my PC is F1C, but I purchased mostly for the mods ( ETCC and JGTC )

F1 2005 is great fun when you put it on hard and no driver aids, best position in monaco single race full distance? 9th in a McLaren...

the only one i own is f1 career challenge. i like it because its from 1999-2002. i like driving the lower level cars and kicking but with them. i say my best full seasion was when i did the 1999 season with prost and won the world champion ship by something like 18 points. the racing i think is pretty hard.

i want a ps2 game with more seasons. i like the older cars. anything from the 70s to now would be cool. the 80s turbos the 70s cars with the big v12s the 90s with all the new technology...
