Mods ive searched but did not find anything but if there is a thread like this than please lock my thread.

What is your favorite game intro?I personally like V-Rally 2's intro and most of the ps1 NFS game intros.

When I was a kid I loved this game, and I loved the Mustang (still do!) Driver:



My favourite moment of any game intro ever is in the video from Gran Turismo 1; when it goes silent for about a tenth of a second and then all the engines kick in (1:14 onwards):

The Need For Speed 2 intro is by far the best. The videos/intros on NFS 1 were also extremely good. Great music too!

Any of the Final Fantasies:

VIII: Squall and Seifer's duel, interspersed with images of Rinoa.
IX: Garnet's nigthmare, the arrival of the Prima Vera and the kidnapping.
X: Sin's attack on Zanarkand.
XII: Ashe's marriage, Dalmasca's war with Archadia, Rasler's foolishness in war and Basch's attempt at escape with the dying prince.
 
I've probably watched the intros to all the GT games more than any others, but I remember being really impressed with the God of War intro. Somthing about how the FMV seamlessly moved right into the game.
 
Gran Turismo 1 and 2. GT3 and 4 fail to impress me.

I must also say that the Sonic Adventure DX intro is pretty sweet.
 
Gran Turismo Concept 2001 ... The BEST Gran Turismo intro in the series and possibly one of the best game intros, pity it was never seen outside of Japan.

Its short and sweet but if that doesnt stir your racing soul nothing will..

funniest intro: Rock Band (they're playing a song on top of moving vehicles!)

I've said it before, and I'll stick to my guns. Gran Turismo 1, it can be seen up this page.

Also, the original Driver, same as GT1.
 
I personally liked the intro to Need for Speed Most wanted and carbon, its like dude, you challenge my honor? how dare you! i will race you muhahahahaha

Not only does it have Hot Action Cop, but it gives me the shivers every time I see that police Diablo sliding around the corner. :sly:
 
Anyone remember G Police's epic intro? The whole game had many brilliant cut-scenes. 👍


Lets hope they do a PS3 update!

I also really like the Max Payne intro but it's not world class. I gotta agree with the threadmaker that V-Rally 2 has a pumping intro as well.
