The gauges looked way too blurry unlike GT5P where I could easily read the speedometer but in GT5 it's very blurry. I adjusted sharpness from my TV to 100% ... didn't work.
I've notcied lots of jagged lines which can be annoying, haven't got round to playing with settings yet asthe game holds my attention too much! I'm sure messing around the sharpness settings will cure it a little bit
Here is a screen shot showing the difference on my 720p display between the 1080i output and 720p output from the PS3. The shots are taken with a camera in front of my plasma, but even with the poor quality the difference can be seen, in front of the display it is very obvious. It's pretty much impossible to show the differences in game between the two (with the equipment I have anyway) but looking at these images I'm pretty sure you'll get the idea.

So is the output of the game 720p? I have a 1080p HD TV, should I go to the PS3 settings and set it on 720p and take off 1080p so it doesn't get downscaled to 720p? (I always have 1080i unchecked).
Iplay on a 1080p PC monitor (BenQ G2220HD), game looks amazing generally, I have it set to sharpen graphics in main menu. Only issue is sometimes in tunnels on replays/bspec gets a little blocky in the shadowed areas other than that cant complain.![]()
Loads of great info on the graphics of GT5 here:

They also test (and include full res shots) the graphic options like sharpness and anti-flicker of GT5.
