Hi, I know that something similar has been suggested before (and may still be up and running) but I am interested in organising a Best Motoring tribute club.

The aim is not so much winning but on racing similar category road cars, which will be stock with no tuning.

The idea is to obviously only allow set cars to race in a particular category. I'm wanting to gauge interest in this so if you are interested then please reply. If there is enough interest then we can start to get car lists together and organise a race time and details.

Hi,

Thanks to those who have replied and if anyone else is interested then please reply.

Now I know there's interest we can start to get things up and running so need to sort out the race categories. The first event will have three categories, which I propose to be Hot Hatch, Sports Saloon and Super Sports Car. I'll start to list which cars will be allowed into each category and post them on here soon. Please feel free to make any suggestions.

The tracks I propose to use will be Tsukuba, Suzuka and Fuji. Tyres will be sports hard with driving aids optional to the drivers preference as in Best Motoring. Again, please feel free to make suggestions.

My PS3 user ID is 1981bd. Please add me if interested. Once this is organised we can sort a race date and time.
