I generally find something fast paced with a beat is good for racing. Hard House, early-mid nineties rave, Techno, something of that variety. The bonus that it tends to be mixed togetehre means its continuous during those tedious endurance races. Well only one break anyway...

I don't play with music on - s'pose if you're driving it auto you don't need to hear the engine.

With some of the turbo cars (particularly the 88' McLaren F1 car - the Polyphony002) you need to keep a close ear to the engine to pick when to shift.

I either listen to that Cult song or nothing. Most modern North American music makes me cringe. Rythmless noise.

Not the best tune I've heard but at least it isn't so chaotic.
