I've always found the Judd GV5 Courage to be the faster and better one.
Not sure why, but it seemed to demolish all competition (but me) when I did the 3 x 24hr Le Mans a while back, and it actually put up a good fight.
I'm not sure if you know this but the '05 can be fitted with more rear wing. This will up the rear downforce to an impressive 105 pts over the standard 85 it comes with. The price is upwards of 75-100,000 credits. It's been a while since I've been in mine so I'm not sure of the cost.
At any rate I too favor the '05 regardless of the extra wing capability.
Yes I do, I have collected all cars.Do you have the other ones?
Yes I do, I have collected all cars.
I've also tested all of the LMP/Group C's.

The added rear wing makes the car understeer more, and it's hard to balance it out.
Different strokes for different folks is all Durp, me personally I can't really stand understeer in high powered cars like LMPs. Since I don't have a wheel, it makes setting up and driving the Pesky to perfection much harder on my end.
I've just done a few tests at Nurburgring GP D. I ran all 3 Pescarolos, all of which were fully tuned, since that's what I assumed most people would do. So, the Peugeot had 862BHP, the Judd GV5 had 960BHP, and the Hybride had 1,047BHP. All used a similar setup as well.
The Hybride (1,047BHP, 731pp) managed 1:17.608
The GV5 (960BHP, 724pp) achieved 1:17.117
The Peugeot (862BHP, 714pp) beat both at 1:17.068!
It's not like I had bad laps either. The Peugeot achieved its time on Lap 2. The Judd GV5 achieved its time on lap 4 and Hybride took 6 laps for me to get the 1:17.6.
No doubt the Hybride was the most unsettled. The Judd GV5 seemed the most balanced, but was very close overall to the Peugeot. This test was done with a DS3 controller on interior view. The Peugeot is no doubt my favourite now if it wasn't before. I always preferred the balance and sound but now it's my fastest! How nice.
Another way, instead of doing it your way, would be to average out the times. But also, it's a nice look into the different cars. You helped quite a lot.
I won't be embarrassed! We'd get similar results based on the times I got. The Hybride would be embarrassed.
i recon the 2005 pescarolo is fastest
This. The problem with the Hybride is that its suspension set up is weird as Hell. Really unforgiving in the rain also because its engine can rev so fast.
This.
I find the Hybride unpredictable at high speed - sometimes turn-in is perfect, sometimes there's ridiculous understeer - and low speed is jittery. I have tried my own setup, every tuners setup, rigidity restore, and it's still a car that takes constant attention to drive well. It's very fast, but most of the other LMP cars are smoother.
For me the understeer is annoying, but it's not knowing if the Hybride is going to turn-in just fine or push out of the racing line that is very frustrating.I kinda like the understeer. It really helps the car fly on Nordchlife. Especially after the long straight with those wicked turns, some cars go flying. IMO it's better.
