For me the understeer is annoying, but it's not knowing if the Hybride is going to turn-in just fine or push out of the racing line that is very frustrating.

Hmmm... On the topic of understeer, that's how I got the gt by critroën to work. Along with the Ferrari p4, and the c-type jag.
On the Hybride, I just keep a sane pace. That always helps.

Where's the fun in that?

Do you have any reason?

It can go 450kmph (no draft), full tuned with no aero and the top speed thing in the gear adjustment at its highest.
The A.I uses it well more then any LMP and Group C.
It is challanging to corner at first but when you get used to it, it is very helpful

I'm not sure if you know this but the '05 can be fitted with more rear wing. This will up the rear downforce to an impressive 105 pts over the standard 85 it comes with. The price is upwards of 75-100,000 credits. It's been a while since I've been in mine so I'm not sure of the cost.

At any rate I too favor the '05 regardless of the extra wing capability.

200,000 I think. Along with other cars like the c9

I'm not sure what you two are talking about exactly... "more rear wing"... are you talking about the normal aero adjustment? Or are you saying you can buy an additional wing in GT Auto that mounts on top of the existing (stock) wing? And this wing costs somewhere around 75,000-200,000 credits? I'm

Go into gt-auto. To to aerodynamics/wing/whatever. Click on the wing. Cost 75,000-200,000 cr. Adds downforce. No visual changes. Increases max range.

So, yea. It can be helpful for tuning it.

OK, thanks. That's *extremely* pricey for an invisible rear wing. :sly:

That rear wing is probably the updated 2006 rear wing the hybride ran in Le Mans 2006. I reckon that wing didn't get modeled into the game beyond performance enhancement.

Most likely, good sir. I did spend a few minutes watching it to look for changes, but I think your right.

I tried the hybride with the wing and it shaved .371 seconds off my time.the car put its power down much smoother and its much easier to turn, but it still irritating to drive

I own all three and this is what I think:

Courage c60; best handling of the three but least power.

GV5; A mix of both of the two cars. Best sounding of the three. (gear 5 sounds amazing for some reason)

C60 Hybride; bone crunching power, and the best looking of the three, but worst handling in the corners.

The C60 hybride is one quick car in the straight line. At Le Mans 2005 it was clocked at over 220 mph, while the Audi could only muster 205 mph. I remember watching the Pesky C60s easily carve around the GT1 cars while the Audi had to draft them from corner to corner.

See, that's why it's good on the Indy event.

Unless if it is fully tuned, then no. the Audi R8 will stay on the track longer then the C60 and they always beat the C60s when I race.

The AI C60 Hybride is the fastest AI in the Indy 500 by a good bit. It just destroys its tires much faster and takes extra stops. If you drive the car and don't slow down as much as the AI does for the corners it would probably be plenty fast, and I suppose a good setup can help correct the tire wear. The R8's will probably always last the longest but the Hybride has lots of speed to make up for that.

The same thing happened to the Hybride in my 24 Hours of Le Mans resulting in it getting lapped, although I've seen people say that it is the fastest and a threat to win the race. I did both races with the accelerated tire wear from an earlier version, so obviously the way this works out will have changed somewhat.

Sure the C60s fast, but it doesn't take brute force to win the endurance events. Thats why the Audi R8 beats them in the Indy all the time.

The c60 is stock there. I did the like the wind Indy race (same race but shorter) with the c60, and I crushed by 15+ seconds. So my c60 vs CPU c60 vs r8, I would win. Also compared to the r8 I like the c60 over it. I like them both, but the r8 seems to be... missing something.

Of coarse the C60 will win at that there is no tyre depletion or fuel depletion. Try the indy 500 and the A.I audi will always beat the A.I C60 due to tyre wear.

Edit: I like the C60 more but it is not reliable when it comes to tyre and fuel depletion.

Interesting tidbit about the AI controlled C60 Hybride is that during the Le Mans enduro, it can be seen dawdling around the track for an hour or two for some reason. I don't know if it's either a glitch or the game is screwing him over by not allowing him to refuel.

The ltw race is short enough that it doesn't matter, saying it's 3-5 laps.

Have you done the Indy 500, if not do it and you'll see my point.

EDIT: Just because it is good at ltw doesn't mean it'll do the same in the INDY 500.

Hmmmm... True, but I don't want to spend 2.5 hours to test a small thing.

Which is exactly what I said. I suppose I could see what my Bobs could do with one but I already did it with the slowest C60 since I felt a bit sorry for that car being as fast as the others but hindered by the gear ratios. B-Spec doesn't really prove anything though since the AI drives completely differently than it does in A-Spec so I'm sure my guys could win with just a few "pace up" commands in any of the normal cars. Just like sticking a turbo on it doesn't prove anything since the AI doesn't use a turbo.

The C60 Hybride-Judd is still good at the Indy 500. The R8 is just better. The Hybride beat all of the other cars when I ran the race A-Spec, in fact. Does anyone know if it is possible to get an Indy 500 field without any R8s? I never managed to.

Sorry but no, if you look at the typical opponents list there is lest then 12 cars. So all the cars will be their.
I agree unless if there online endurance events are boring, but I never use my X2010 instead I try to keep it entertaining, sure its a risk but you get a bit of fun while you do it.

Eh... I find it more entertaining if there is less risk. For 4th place in the Indy 500 bspec, the reward is 16,000!!! 16,000!!! You drop the ability to do anything for a couple hours, and get next to nothing off of it!!! Plus the exp. amounts!!! Hate it!!!
