All i just want to know what is the best premium road car?

For me it's not and it's have steering wheel in middle ;)

Ford GT or 458 or rs6 avant or GTR or lancer evo or ZR1, I have more in mind and really don't know what to decide.

for me the SLS AMG is my favourite!

I like the nissan skyline too

Shelby 427 Cobra...This is my game saver...Looks great, fun to drive. The only car in the game that really feels like you're actually driving a car, to me anyway.

Also works in a good assortment of races so it's versatility keeps it from getting boring. And to me, it is the epitomy of what a sports car should be.

I like the Mclaren f1 as well. If your finding it hard to steer look up RKM tuning and use their tune. It handles excellently for me with a ds3.

This is all really based on preferences but I also like the ZR1 (RM'd is better)

ZR1. Stock apart from Sport Soft tires. Made thread once about it being the best. Some agreed, some flamed me. I don't care, I love it.

Daihatsu Copen '02

Seriously its a great starter car, that when fully tuned let's you complete 6 or 7 A- spec events and then gets turned into a cash cow with the seasonals.

Best car doesn't have to be extremely expensive, race modifiable, or a supercar, but one that you can get easily at an early point in the game and still be usefull/fun later on.

I'm still trying to get down to 8 minutes flat on Nordschlief (8:20 best so far) in the copen because I like the challenge. Have many faster cars, but don't enjoy driving them as much because they require so much more effort most of the time.

Go ahead and flame me :sly: but really the "best" premium car or car in the game period is the one you enjoy driving the most and will use most often.

Have fun and drive hard:cool:

Fully tuned SLR McLaren doubles (no, triples!) as a road car, race car, and a drifter. :)

GT-R SpecV. It's almost too easy to drive.

+1.... it's a really good, fast car. I wish I could afford a real one. They look the dog's bolleaux in real life...!

Best I've driven, and hate to say because it's a supercar, is the MP4-12C. So light and snappy, just overall fantastique!

Ferrari F430 Scuderia. 👍

IMO it has to be the Mcleren F1.

Enzo.

Just get a Cappucino (or a Mocha....... oh wait, that car doesn't exist) and win 10 races in K Cup, Eifel Circuit.

With a tuning, should be a B-E-A-S-T.

^5 on this. this topic is way too open to interpretation. The 07 GT-R is huge until level 20ish, the ZR-1 after that, and the maxxed out Cervo is great in the seasonal. Gotta give props for the Amuse turbo too!

Surprise no body mention Lamborghini Gallardo. 👍

ZEROX
Surprise no body mention Lamborghini Gallardo. 👍

She is a slippery fast devil! Can win several series with it. Gorgeous IRL too!

Lotus Esprite V8 '02 can be a lot of fun and useful for several A-spec events as can the '69 Corvette convertible (which I prefer to the '69 Camaro RM...similar performance cheaper car and its a Corvette convertible:D)

And yeah SoCalSenator the Cervo is another great starter option.

Think of this, buy any of the Kei cars as your first car spend remaining Cr. to up its performance, run Eifel seasonal once and finish modifying car with winnings. Grind Eifel 10 times and you now have over a million Cr. and your high enough level to start buying some of the higher performance cars, all in under half an hour including time spent modifying and tuning the car. Now you have all kinds of options for what to get and use for all the A and B spec series. Would recommend this for anyone just starting out or restarting the game.

Then again what do I know I'm crazy:crazy:

That maxxed out Cervo in the seasonal (Eifel track) is so easy to drive and wins easy money! With racing softs it's like cheating!

If you're just starting out, get the Mazda Eunos Roadster and add the engine ECU to get the "penniless" trophy. You'll thank me later.

Ahem Ferrari F40 is just about the best car ever made and about the best car in GT5.
EDIT: I forgot about the Aston Martin DB9, or if you can D.I.Y a little than a "custom" DBS are some of the best cars in GT5 plainly because they look so good! :)
EDIT 2.0: The best however has to be the Ferrari 458 Italia. It deserves it's worthy trailer Ferrari 458 Italia Gran Turismo 5 Trailer That pretty much sums the car up :D
