It all depends on how you define "good", really. Personally speaking, as a RX-7 fanboy, I'd say the 2002 Spirit R RX-7. I love to fool around with the pop up headlights in Photo Travel, and the turbo boost pressure gauge, while minuscule, is fun to watch when you're shifting gears on a straight. I'm going to start sounding as if I have OCD right about now, but since the car has a twin sequential turbocharger, it's really fun to try to notice the boost pressure jump from 8-10 psi when you go past 4500RPM. That, and the entire dashboard looks amazing at night when all the gauges are highlighted red, with the Spirit R Emblem on it, even if it looks god awful if you take an interior shot of it in photo travel. The red Recaro racing seats and the red stitching exclusive to the Spirit R however, are just amazing, especially to a RX-7 fanboy such as myself.
Of course, those reasons are just the less obvious ones. The more obvious reasons as to why the RX-7 is such an amazing car in my opinion is it's handling and striking curves. It is unbelievably grippy for a FR car, and when it starts to slide, it's easy to predict and correct. If you ever have the urge to try driving without ABS, I definitely recommend this car. In fact, the only complaint I have about the car is that it sounds pacified compared to all the other FD RX-7s in the game, even though it makes the most power.
Other premium cars I feel are worthy of mention is the 2006 Honda S2000. It revs to (almost...) 9000RPM, has a digital, linear rev counter, and also a digital speedo, albeit only in KM/h. In terms of styling, it is a complete contrast to the RX-7, having a lot of straight and aggressive lines and fixed headlights, but seductively gorgeous all the same. The engine redlines way too often, because it is very rev happy and it is geared very short, both attributes I admire in a car, especially in a proper 6 speed manual. The structural rigidity of that thing is godlike, especially for a convertible.
Or, if you want an easy to drive car to cruise around in, the Daihatsu Copen, hands down. That thing's steering is VERY responsive and provides a lot of feedback, even with a DS3 controller. The thing has so much grip, I have yet to be able to make the tyres really scream and protest, even in a fully wet Nurburgring. Then again, this IS a FWD car with 60 ish horsepower.
