BGM Music driving me nuts!

This is a very stupid question but I just got GT5 and I can't seem to find a way to turn off the BGM in arcade or career mode. HELP!

in the options go one dows and then to the right.

there you set the audio...

Yeah the settings are NOT clear at all.

Its under the "hardware" section of the options menu, then you scroll right to sound.

Man seriously take some time and upload your stolen music to your PS3, it is soooo cool to listen to your stolen music in GT, I mean picture rolling down the street smokin indo sippin on gin and juice...on the nurburgring.

How the hell is bgm hardware???

Yeah. Mine keep losing the setting though. I set a folder for background music and race music and all is well for a few tunes and then it starts paying the prepackaged tunes again. Arrghh.

you need to deselect all the default tunes.
so far i havent had the music change on me at all.
i have 2 or 4 default music tracks enabled too, it doesnt seem to cause a problem.

ive tried the folders/playlists method as well and that always reverts back to default music.
