So what is up with that May 22nd release date that was being thrown around a few days ago? Does somebody know something or just more speculation? Damn I miss Amar!

Did not hear that one, To me, That would be a good release date, It would work good for the NASCAR fans because the All-Star race in Charlotte is the same week if true
 
The may 22nd date is something one person heard and then other took it to heart and started spreading.

GDC is the name of the event. It should be big sony conference at GDC.
 
I have a bad feeling that they will show the GT5 trailer that came with GOW3.
I'm not getting my hopes up.

There's isn't any cool car around here, so we must entertain ourselves in other ways you know. Also, now we have a Brazilian Jalopnik version, which completely sucks, or there's anyone interested in a volkswagen beetle or Brasilia?

No, I'm not interested in VW brasilia, unfortunately I already drove one and you can go faster just by crouching, and just check this:

My forthcoming ride, cheap, 101bhp, looks great despite of being a VW, and the chicks by here love it too. :cool:

At least looks better than a Dacia Sandero, also sold by here rebadged as a Renault.

BT-> Even Sony in general is not a developer. First-party developers will show up under the Sony's banner; with the likes of Naughty Dog, Japan Studio, United Front Games, Media Molecule, and especially Polyphony Digital. :sly:
 
I'd actually prefer the Brasilia, can't think of anything more gloriously pointless than a 2-door Beetle mini-stationwagon which appears to be designed in the early seventies, i mean really, what's not to like? ;)
 
PD better show up on that conference or else I wont buy GT5... Just kidding!

Hahah, yeah it's a beetle with a different body and it's also heavier and slower too, you wouldn't really want one of it. ;)

I wasn't even taking the possibility of PD's absence into consideration. It would be frustrating, the same goes if they only show the Gow Trailer again. :banghead:

I think it's better to not expect any news, as always. ;)
 
The same GOW trailer only now in 3D.............don't expect anything, but the confirmed PS3 firmware update to include 3D scheduled for early June somehow makes me wonder whether GT5 is gonna be released sooner than Q3/4 2010.
The only source we had so far was, apart from the delay, that Portugese Sony-guy who more or less expected without strictly confirming the Autumn release date, no word from PD or Sony Japan since.

Funny, I used to live in Brasilia (city, not the car), now I'm living in Joao Pessoa... You know, the same old problem: chicks, beaches and parties, lol.

About GT5, how many time PD will continue to torture us, without (relevant) news? Hope we get more than technology showcase in GDC.
 
I'm going to watch in the absolute off-chance MG Rising is mentioned.

...Although I know nothing won't be mentioned until E3 or something....so I'm basically watching it....just to watch it. :lol:
 
Mhh I think Kaz is doing other "important" things... Maybe he is designing a new car or is opening an Gran Turismo Cafe or something...

So no news expecting... I remember the E3 or TGS "fiasco", waited all night long to see an 1 minute trailer lol...
 
My take on this:

"Oh look, a game conference. Must watch, wonder what they'll show"

This is the same outlook I have for E3, TGS and whatever gathering that involves games. Notice GT5 is not mentioned.
