I respectfully disagree, the Falcon is one of my personal favourites, I think the Audi R10 is the biggest waste, I've been reading on here different people's experiences with the car, and I thought "how bad could it be?" so I bought one last weekend, Its an Audi LMP after all, boy was I wrong..:p

It's about 1.2 million credits, so not tradable. It shows up for me in about 300 game days, according to the UCD database some of the guys are putting together, so I'll have it soon enough.

The Peugeot 908 made me quite an unhappy man after driving it. It became my bob's car and even he didn't like it. Worst 4 million spent. :grumpy:

At first same here, but that can be saved if you use the tune from RKM which they had on before Spec II. Still works great for me. Maybe he/she (can't remember who of them put it on) will update it along with the others.

My biggest disappointment was the Nissan GT-R Spec-V. I thought it had a weid heavy feel about it.

How long is a game day? If it's 24 hours (exactly the same as a earth day), then it's pretty safe to say that it will only turn up once a year. So if you miss it this year, maybe Santa will get you one next year :lol: .
 
By far the two Ferrari race cars. You can use them in seaonal events, but not in the game. Too bad because they are a dream handling machine, and at $22mil or so.....
I copied them both, sent them to my computer and merged them in Photoshop....now they both are bright pink....

Won't be that long. A game day passes every time you load up a race/licence/practice session so maybe next week. :)

Oreca and Team Total with mileage... 2 Team Total with no mileage and 1 Oreca with no mileage... 👍

I enjoy the challenge of driving the R-10 but it is a monster to handle. I think they got the cars nasty characteristics compared to real life.



It's from the 1960's it's not supposed to feel like a modern day LMP car.

As for me:

The Challenger Touring Car. It is a bit of a tank to be honest but I haven't started tuning it yet though. Very nose heavy with the V8 up front. It's not really a waste as much as it is disappointment though.

Must ask this but you can't buy the Challenger TC in the game (only by DLC) so would it qualify as a waste of credits?
 
the 2D for me.... 15 million credits and its a freaking 3 speed that has no launch power at all... I was hoping to use it to get the last gold (the classic race car on Monaco).... Yeah, that was an epic fail... I was better off with my Toyota 7.... In context (a complex track) the 2D is absolutely worthless! I dont even plan on messing with it anywhere else (though it does look pretty cool)... another garage dust collector for me!

This. I believe it was the 2007 for me, very early on in the game, even before the Ferrari F1 seasonals. Saved up all that money (and it was a lot harder back then too) to finally buy myself a nice Ferrari F1 race car, and then I had to realize you can't even use the damn thing. That has remained my biggest disappointment after spending some hard earned cash ever.

You can use the Ferrari F1's online.. theres always F1 servers. the F2007 was the best 12.5 mill ive ever spent 👍

Although *technically* theyre a waste of money because you get 2x lvl 24 tickets for beating all the endurances. So ur pretty much guaranteed to end up with a Ferrari F1
 
I was quick to paint it 'troll purple' and whack on all the mods and a huge turbo but maintained the stupid 4 speed auto gearbox to avoid whine, add to the trollness and give me something to critisise after sorting out the awful performance!
 
The two Ferraris used to be useless but now they have grown on me. The one car that has not grown on me that much though is the Volkswagen Schwimmwagen. (And I have no clue why I bought it other than to the reason of owning it for no reason).

Actually, I think an easy 50% of cars in the game (IMO) are a waste of money and a disappointment... 45 Miata variants... another 70 skylines...

There are TONS of disappointments in many of the cars but the good ones make up for the bad ;) Plus it was my choice to try and get every car in the game... so, no one to blame but myself for them... lol
 
The BMW McLaren - it was the second to last standard car I needed and it handles like a dog sled smeared in pig poop.

Mind you, that was back when credits were harder to come by. Now I've got 3 and I don't drive any of them.

But with some good tuning it's equally as good as any LMP in GT5. And you have to admit, that McLaren looks very nice.

Considering these can be earned by winning events, yeah, waste of credits. Could have bought the Lamborghini Miura P400 for 20m and Peugeot 908 for 4m and still have money left over, like enough to buy that 307. :lol: Just kidding, folks.

When I bought all of the remaining 2010 NASCARs, they then posted the NASCAR seasonal to which we won a NASCAR ticket...Why would I need to Brian Vickers Toyotas?!. D'oh :dunce:
 
ferrari f1, can't get online to race, and it can't be used in a/b spec so for me it was a time trial vehicle or race against the same f1 car in arcade. got really annoyed then restarted my game from scratch.

:lol: That's so true. Although we can use it in the Ferrari Seasonal.
 
Lamborghini Muira, 15 million, drove it for 5 minutes and just not enjoying it.... now I have no money again. Damn.
