BlazinXtreme
How are Legacey's? I think thats how you spell them, they look bigger then the WRX and more then likely has the same feel to them.
Yes those would definetly be worth looking into. They are also decent powered little cars with comfort and reasonably priced.
Oh yeah since I mentioned snow I am sure you are currently getting snow. Because I sure am.

I think I get discounts on Saab's...in fact I'm willing to bet I do. I know I didn't get them on Subarus though for whatever reason. But I like them, in fact I like all Saab's especially the 9-7X SUV, that thing is sweet! I'll check out a 9-3 though.

I'm going to check out a TSX as well, I mean why not? As well as the Legacey.

And yes we are getting snow now, it just started not that long ago, but I'm stuck in the basement of the Warren Tech Center so I don't know what the hell is going on.

the trailblaser's nice. :) very easy car to drive and tdecent amount of room. Its my parents car. i'm not sure how much hp it has though. i think somewhere around 300. i think its the standard model but i cant remember.

why dont u just take a few cars for a test drive?

I'll run out to the garage later to see the exact specs.

He is going to. He is just using this thread for more ideas so he can test drive more cars. ;)
Instead of 2 or 3 options he now has many to choose from.

Ya I really should have looked around more before I bought the Blazer, even though the Blazer was a great truck

subaru legacy (although thier gas milage sucks by comparison to another comparative japanese sedan)
saab 9/3
WRX
CTS
323Ci (dont laugh, you can get a basic one for about that price)
volvo V70

all seat four. pretty much all can be had ro less than 30 large.
theres very little i would purchase from GM at that price that seats four. wait, theres nothing i would purchase from GM at that price aside from the saab and base model CTS

Well, after hearing all that, I'm going to drop my other suggestions and stick to the Trailblazer SS. That thing is sweet. Mileage might not be that great, but you get what you pay for. And, its got plenty of room. Don't know if you need 4WD, but its got that choice also. I'd say, depending on how much you can get one for with your discount, that would be a great choice. Check it out.

mazdaspeed mazda 6, 274 hp, all wheel drive, might be an issue with availability, these things are going to be HOT...

I suggested a CTS, not a CTS-V. I just said -V for temptation-factor. :p

Anyway, with that being cleared up (about the rwd thing), I wouldn't be able to offer any more car suggestions.

I don't think the Soltice will seat 4, though. Holy crap.

VIPFREAK
Will it have that ugly ass front though? I can't really imagine it being at or under $27,000 either.

mazdaspeed 6 MSRP 28,555

i think he can shell out another 1,555...and he can probably haggle a dealer down....like say "i'll put x down, and refinance the remaining X-1,555"

I would bet very GOOD money there wont be much haggling with the MAZDASPEED. Like SVT's and AMG's ans M's, and even MAZDASPEED Miatas, most go over sticker price...

Seeing as you say you dont care for handling or outright speed just get mercedes c-class.
Or if handling and speeds a bonus get a audi or bmw.

Well aslong as there isn't a "waiting list" on the car..

It's not that far fetched of an idea...A dealership is way more interested in getting more money right now, than a % of something later

new R32 in the states yet?

and maybe you can find a "new" old R32 at a dealership..

would be a very nice aquisition..but ..not much of a 4 seater

MKV not out yet in the states so that will probably be a no from blazing. There should be quite big discounts on new E46 coupes check those out. And if your into drop tops you could get the pre-facelifted audi A4 convertible at a discount aswell from new depdning if or how long ago the facelifted verison was introduced.

Joey,
Now you've got me a little worried.
All your main choices sound so...mature.

I was looking for something that would grab the "rodder" in you.
And you're getting all misty over a Saab. (It's the one car in the world as safe or safer than a Volvo, and a damn sight better looking to boot.)

Carl.
Do you get discounts on these too?

Yes he gets a GM discount on all GM family vehicles. My sister-in-law's father is a retired GM employee and he gets the employee plan on all of the GM family--including Saab. Infact I'll add the Saab 9/3 to the mix if it's in your price range. Really good cars...and quite quick I might add.

The reason I'm looking for something a little mature is because like I said, I'm going to get married soon, I mean to the point where the girl and I are talking about it.

I still would like something with an aftermarket, because there is still a side of me that won't let that go. I mean some performance upgrades here and there, and some visual stuff, and definatly the vehicle will have a nice sound system.

Wow I didn't know anything about the Mazda 6, might be worth at least looking at.

I don't know about the EVO to tell you guys the truth, I'll take a look.

Then thats a no to an R32, they are way overpriced for what they are.

Blaz you want to know about the evo?

It's a rough ride, with 4 doors and a retarded wing (unless you want the model with no amenities then you get no wing) it's got racing seats for all the "rally driving" you'll be doing.
the in cab noise rivals a gutted honda.

and you'll havta learn how to drive a AWD 5-6 speed without burning the clutches like Evo's are so good at doing..

Good luck to you with that decision.

Alright since I'm going to be keeping the car for a while it has to be kid friendly too! Because me and the girl want to be parents sooner rather then later. So ya I think I'm going to start with a Trailblazer SS
