But what would we know, we only live here. Someone on the other side of the world should know better.Still, we were always taught we're an island over here.
I'm sure I could answer any of your questions but this is a website for a car game and whether Australia is an island or not is completley irrelevant. I won't be entering into any more discussions on this topic.Answer me the following questions.
Looking at the standard of grammar on these forums, I think having a go at someone for not quoting a source should be the least of your worries. Please quote your sources in future.

I just clicked on the link to hopefully find some information about the BMW 120d. Well, I was wrong. I found a bunch of immature idiots arguing about a stinking country. I mean come on guys, don't fill up the forums with useless ****. If you want a debate, run for president. If you're not up for that, SHUT UP.

The "little island" (9th largest island on Earth) is actually IN Europe, so your assertion that "europeans [...] are too cheap and compromise their driving experience for 20cents a litre less" is false. Oh, and of the 300 million population of the European Union, 20 percent of them are Brits - so regardless of your claims, 20 per cent of European drivers pay MORE for diesel than petrol. I'd estimate that less than 30% of cars sold in the UK, and less than 40% in the EU, are derv-burners - but no you must be right that we all drive diesels.
Generalisations are ALL wrong. Including that one.

And sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. We hit on other people for going off topic, I can't see this getting more off topic without the use of a penguin, a whale, a baseball bat and butter.

Means I still have a few hours for you to mail me your copy of Prologue if you have one. If not, you're of no use to society. Start dying already. Like, properly, none of this Tibetan philosopher Sylvia Plath crap.

oh and generalisation are a common thing in life. if they are not made, we cannot discuss any issue that surround our society... generalisation is a necessity for discourse... grow up.

Same one I am now... What a curious question.
I'm not totally sure why you quoted my entire post, and only had this small paragraph at the end in relevance to it. Perhaps you thought I was making the statement I was refuting?
Nonetheless, generalisations are ALL wrong - you see there was actually a joke contained within that, subtle though it wasn't. Saying "All generalisations are wrong" is fundamentally ironic, because the statement itself is also a generalisation, so thus wrong - making generalisations right, making the statement right, making generalisations wrong and... It's all so lovely and convoluted.
Nonetheless, if you cannot "discourse" without ridiculous generalisations, you're an idiot. Oh sure, there's approximate generalisations which ring true, but they aren't wholly true. In this case though, the generalisation was that "all Europeans are cheap so therefore drive diesels" (a paraphrase) which is 100% wrong, since, as I stated, diesels account for less than 40% of all new car sales in Europe. And as for "all diesels are slow", someone please go and tell Mercedes.

Famine: You said you can't run for President. I was under the impression you can't become the President of the USA if you were born in another country. So I was asking what country you were from originally... I assumed that would have also been your nationality at least for some time.
