I second that...........

As I have a 1989 E30 M3 sitting in my garage right now.........

As it is put away for the winter, it would be great to drive one in GT5 and drive it on the ring !!!!!!!!!!!!

It is kind of an egregious omission when you think about it. Of course they got the Ferarri license and somehow managed to not include the Daytona or 265 GTB/4 either, or really any classic Ferarris for that matter.

Japan got their Skyline
US got their Ponies
Europe OUGHT TO have their E30s!!!

We need everything from the 318i, 318is, 325i, M3, to the M3 Evo, and even 324td if Kaz fancy diesel.
Please Please Please... This car is way overdue!

SONY, PD please read this thread, we are begging you! We are desperate now!

I can't afford to renew my insurance on my E30 318i whcih runs out in 9 days :( so the nearest I'll get to driving it again will be if they add it into GT5

Yeah! Polophony added some cars that nobody would ever dare want to drive, but then don't add Porsche, Hyundai Genesis, New BMW Z4, or some great classics such as the E30 you mentioned!

Yay! someone complaining about porsche not being here when EA has an exclusive license with Porsche! Way to go! That's the best way to get them here!

On a serious note: I think the E30 should be here. It's a nice car :)

Then why are Porsche in Forza 3?

+ make it premium
+ make it a Cecotto
+ include race mod
+ include DTM versions

here's my previous E30 just for the memories...

It's not like it's completely unknown to the Japanese, either. The E30 M3 competed as a GT300 car in the former JTCC, even years after the E36 had gone into production. Here's a race at Tsukuba I'm sure you'll all appreciate (skip to 2:30 if you want to get straight to the point):

I, for one, would love to see not only an E30 M3 roadcar, but also one of the old JTCC models like these, complete with original livery.

the M3 E30s are sick as hell making 210hp on a 4 banger in 86? thats crazy. i love E30s ive built 3. 2 drifters. and one rally. all of them being 325es

How about the E21 3 series, I would love that. I had an E21 323i in 1989 and an E30 323i in 2002. The E21 had the dog leg gearbox and LSD. It was a beast, and I still miss it today. Come on PD, give us these cars.

Then why are Porsche in Forza 3?

EA granted them a sub-licence for Forza's 1-3, but then later retracted it for Forza 4, hence Porsche appear in FM1, 2 and 3 but don't appear in FM4. For some unknown reason, they've never allowed any Gran Turismo game to include Porsche. There are rumours on the internet that state EA's exclusive Porsche contract may have run out in December 2011, but that isn't confirmed so don't get your hopes up.

I don't know what all the fascination is with the E30. Ok, it was a great car in it's time and produces impressive performance figures for such an old car but it seems as if there is a sort of irrational craze for this car

Its just that it was extremely great and is still considered as great even now.
