wow never realized the 69 Vette was eligable for aero mods possibly would have won with it before I bought the 09 ZR1 was only off by 3 sec grrr

I'm fairly convinced that with the stock ZR-1 on sport hard tires and TCS on 1 I can do a 1:40 lap.

My fastest time was about 1:42'xx :)

Custom set-up: Downforce, suspension, gear-ratio and LSD.
Tires: Racing Hard
Racing-Mod'd ZR1 Corvette ,)

i already had a fully modded ZR1 RM, so i used that. i feel kind of bad haha, but really had no interest in the race itself, just the moneh.

Brought a ZR1 for the occasion, understeers a little so upped the tyres to sports soft, applied weight reduction, which made a huge difference and makes the car a lot more flexible in those u turns.
The car was a nice surprise, it Is a bit heavy but weight reduction alone really changes this car.

Would not mind seeing what some of the tuners have come up with on this car, potentially a real animal.

I had lots of fun doing this race. Did it with a fully tuned ZR1 C6(no RM), drifting in every single corner. Overtook Camaro in the last turn. I must admit, this track suuuuuucks. I really, really hate it.

From memory I did it in the C6, Hard slicks, some breathing mods and a chip. Had not driven this track since the Euro GT Academy a year or so ago so first few laps was struggling with line....Was pulling the cars in steadily.. ran a little wide on a few corners but gap times were showing it was going to be reaaaal close.
Coming out of the last set of corners on to the banked section the lead car was still a long way in front but I nailed the run out .. Was pulling him in fast but still didnt know if I would get him, just kissed the wall on the last bank curve and thought Im screwed, but snuck just enough of a slip stream to clinch the win. Won it by .02x of a second, didnt know till the time and placings came up.... talk about tense !!

1:40 laps will get you into second place by the end of lap 3, but you will still need to shave off twenty (20s) to catch up to the 1st place on your final lap.

I am having a real hard time catching 1st in my final lap, with lap times of 1:36. And every race, the final lap, I manage to screw up at least 2 turns...
