Been working on a side project for quite awhile now, loads of new tunes. Have been racecar testing on 2 custom tracks, grouping them by category. 70 plus at one track, over 200 on the other. Still have about 40 to go:crazy:.
Will be posting some results in a week or two, but it takes time to tune/test cars. And I do have to sort out the times. Some cars I have never liked, such as the XJ220 surprised me, others like the R8s I just find a chore. When I post the results, if anyone wants to try a specific tune, I will then post. Too many to try and post them all. But the latest batch I have posted, I enjoyed too much not to share. Might try and find time to post a few more.

Which I have used to time trial race cars from 500-550pp and will be posting results shortly.
And....Wallkill Valley, a set of 4 tracks from the same location. Ranging from short and challenging at 2.66 miles (18 turns), to the behemoth and most challenging at 3.23 with 20 turns. Each has good elevation change and some challenging corners. And they all share the same twisty sections. Please feel free to give them a go and leave honest feedback.

Like Red River Junction, I used Wallkill Valley Raceway to test Race Cars from 550pp (and flat floor cars as well) all the way up to 700pp LMP/VGT cars. I will hopefully get those posted soon as well.

These cars have been divided into separate groups but will be listed in order from fastest to the slowest.

I have to say that this car is an often overlooked gem. I remember seeing it driven by the AI in the touring car career races and thinking that it was a nice looking car. You sir have created an awesome tune for this car. I put over 50 miles on it last night in A Spec races and every mile was enjoyable. I would have driven more but it was late. Tonight though... There is nothing about this tune that is less than optimal. Definitely added to my favorites. :)👍:cheers::cheers::cheers:

I can post them if you are interested, might take a day or two as I have been quite busy as of late. Just let me know which one, some however, I won't as I was not happy with them, such as the AEM S2000, or C-WEST Silvia. But most of the others are postable.

I also have most race cars over 550pp and results from another test to get posted. Will try this week. As for the ALTEZZA, I was stunned at how good that car is, total sleeper.

Using your tunes as a baseline has allowed me to be competitive in Snail GT1 specifically your Camaro SS '10, Corvette ZR1 flat floor tunes and your Fairlady Z34 tune. With your tunes i am at least on a level playing field and able to compete if not ahead of the game. I have directed many others to your tunes and i am sure your page is a heavily used resource in GT1 now. Since its impossible to know how many people stalk your page and copy tunes i wanted to let you know we greatly appreciate and frequently reference your tuning sheets and you are an asset to our race league. Thank you for your hard work and insight.

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words. I'd like to believe my tunes can be quite competitive, and hearing others enjoy them makes it worth it 👍
 
Here's an idea for fun, I did this an enjoyed it. Go to the Mazda dealer and buy one of each Miata model (not each car, there are three versions of each, but for example: 1 J-limited, not all three). Next, tune each to 180hp, 925kg. Slap on either CS or SH tires and tune using non adjustable trans (5 speeds will be mostly 137mph top speed, for those that are not use full custom and set top speed to 137mph. 6 speeds set to 143 if not default non adjustable), twin clutch and have each have semi-racing exhaust and sports cat. No supercharger or turbo and set a minimum for power mimiter, I went with 92% but I tried to stay much higher.

After each is tuned, select 11 tracks, you should have 12 cars. For the first 2 tracks, give each car only 4 or five laps, eliminate the slowest car after each track. For the next 7 tracks, give the first car 6 laps to set the best time, give each following car 5 laps (max, 2 min) to beat that lap. If it fails, the new slowest time becomes the time to beat. After each track, eliminate the slowest car. Try and mix up the order tested. For the final 2 tracks, give each car 5 laps, again eliminating slowest.
I gave an extra 25kgs to the '04 1600, and '07 Roadster RS to lower there pp level. Should all be between 407-414pp. Also try and pick the tracks in advance, and run in order of shortest to longest.

I found it loads of fun, and enjoyed some more than others. Some are better on some tracks, but not others. First on track also seemed to suffer a bit, but was not necessarily the car eliminated.

Last month, I have a suggestion on another way to keep enjoying GT6 using Miatas. So this month, I have a new one for you.

I bought and built each Elise, Motor Sport included, and tuned to 475pp. Each with a rear wing (because I can) and sports hard tires. Ran them at the then current seasonal, 500pp Brands Indy. The difference? 2 were tuned to 750kg, 2 at 800, 2 at 850 and 2 at 900kg. Each weight class had one turbo, and one naturally aspirated. Then I had the idea to compare them to the NSX! So I bought and built every NSX, all 17. 3 come from the Acura dealer. Built them to 475pp and also ran at the seasonal. Just in time for a new seasonal at Tzukuba at 450pp, so 7 Elise cars and 8 NSX cars also got detuned to 450pp. While I was at it, why not go to 500pp?
So 6 Elise cars and 10 NSX cars were tuned to 500pp. 450pp cars were tested at Grand Valley East Reverse and added to my already existing Leaderboard (you can find in post 2 with the tune list, although these have not been posted). The 475 and 500pp cars were tested and added to the Midfield Leaderboard. Interesting results with a new top dog at GVE, and a now very full list at Midfield.

I also built a custom track that suits MR cars really well, and have tested them there along with other MRs for comparison, but you will have to wait for those results.

Take a moment and check the leaderboards, the 111R and Type 72 just crush the NSX! :dopey:

Don't sleep on the Type 72, or the '11 :sly:, absolute beasts. I am not a big MR fan, prefer FR, but 2 of those 3 are among my favorites in the game. Only a Vette or 2 (maybe more:dopey:) do I enjoy more. :D

Stops on a dime is correct. While a dime is twice the monetary value of the nickel, it is physically smaller. That always confused me too. 💡 Good to hear from you!

Dime$0.10, penny$0.01, Nickel$0.05, quarter$0.25 susan B.$1.00, Sacajawea$1.00, half dollar$0.50, dollar$1.00,
I think I covered all the still legal tender coins.
Coins are odd variation in size, and size has nothing to do with value.
Example the quarter and susan b are 1mm different in size.
The susan b and sacajewa are both half the size of a half dollar but worth twich as much.

Say his V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) It would replace all federal taxes and Social Security on pay checks remove the IRS and make it impossible to avoid paying taxes unless you live 100% off grid grow your own food and make everything you use from what you gather.

So after discussing the Elise 111R and Type72, and how much and really like these cars, I decided to list some cars. NOW THIS LIST IS IN GAME, not necessarily those that I would want in my driveway.

Between your NSX Type R '02 car and @Thorin Cain NSX Type R '02 car, I tested both cars and they seem to handle the same so I can not pick which car is the best, I have now a outstanding car at 550PP and a outstanding car at 575PP, thank you once again guy's :cheers::cheers:.

I use your NSX Type R '02 (Flat Floor) for the Expert Seasonal Race and I just won, I did not add the ballast weight to the car that means I got 560PP and it handled a lot better for me taking the ballast weight off the car, it handles going the corners like it was on rails accept for one corner when the car was on 2 wheels, I painted my car red which is my favourite colour :).

I have been tuning my MR cars with less ballast and with the position a little further back. For me, -25 to -35 (at the most) works best but I know some don't like ballast at all. Lighter is always better, and too far forward gives a little understeer. I've found other ways to tame the rear ;).
Gonna try and see if I can post my latest version of the 111R and Type 72, maybe even the '01 NSX. But will have to see as I have not touched the game in a week. :guilty:

I am going to leave your car at 560PP now with no ballast weight because I had so much fun with your car at the Expert Race. Having 2 cars now at 560PP and Thorin Cain at 575PP and they are my 2 favourite car in the game by a long way now :cheers:.
