Alas, as the season is almost over, we move into the Brazilian GP weekend.

The drivers championship is all but over, and will probably be concluded this weekend. The main fight is, still, over the constructors championship. If McLaren can have both cars finish every remaining race then the title will surely be theirs ... But, Renault have the points advantage and the reliability advantage.

Should be a good weekend, and hopefully Kimi can keep the championship alive for one more race, at least.

i just dont want it to rain. i dont like the rain in f1. touring and sports cars sure but not f1.

My Prediction

1. Juan Pablo Montoya
2. Kimi Raikonen
3. Rubens Barichello
4. Jenson Button
5. Gaincarlo Fischella
6. Micheal Schumcher
7. Felipe Massa
8. Jarno Trulli

And being the Brazillian Grand Prix. We all know that Rubens car will blow up!!

And where's Alonso?

Alonso gets a problem on his engine and has to start 10 positions down, but being things in Renault, they give him Fisi's car... and we all know that one doesn't work very well.

H'es got to have a DNF sooner or later, like sometime this decade. Although by the loks of it it wont be happening any time soon

i dont usually make any predictions but-

1-Raikkonen
2-R.Schumacher
3-Montoya
4-Alonso
5-Button
6-Barichello
------------
9-Webber

he had a dnf in canada. i think he will do well.

we all know who i'm rooting for.

alonso will have a 180mph crash and be out for the rest of the season according to a pyshic.

that sounds pretty close to saying you hope he crashs like you've been known to say.

There have been a number of instances where members have written "I hope driver xxx crashes" or worse. I have seen many posts wishing physical harm and even death to be inflicted upon drivers or others involved in motorsport.

This is completely unacceptable

I have already stated this before, in another thread, but clearly the warning fell upon deaf ears, therefore it is being replicated in these threads.

The moderating staff understand that people have their favourites in motorsport, and that they might therefore wish the rivals of their favourites to undergo misfortune. Fair enough, but if we see any crash or physical harm being wished upon any participant in any form of motorsport, then we shall immediately issue an AUP violation warning.

I'd never trust a psychic who isn't a multi-millionaire...

Alonso only needs a total of six points in the next three races (is that correct?) to win the world championship, so he will take it easy I reckon, and I'd put money on him finishing third, unless JPM or Kimi has a problem, which is quite likely....

Fisi is crap. If Alonso's car needed an engine change, he would get Fisi's car. All Alonso needs is a third place finish to win the championship no matter what position Kimi finishes. He'll do it.

Well im just passing on what someone with extraordinary powers told me.

My psychic is telling me that you will be banned if you keep this up.

I think my psychic is better than yours.

OnTopic:

I'm hoping that the race will go something like this

1. Räikkönen
2. Montoya
3. Barrichello <- only because it's brazil, otherwise Trulli
4. Trulli
5. Ralf
6. Michael
7. Villeneuve
8. Fisichella

but it will probably be like this

1. Alonso (after Montoya screws up with 5 laps remaining)
2. Fisichella (Kimi blows an engine in practice and has an accident in turn 1, he has been too lucky so far this season in the first corners considering how many times he has started in the middle of the pack *I AM NOT WISHING FOR HIM TO CRASH*)
3. Button
4. Michael
5. Ralf
6. Trulli
7. Coulthard
8. Whoever is driving for Williams (not Webber)

Edit: Typo

1: Alonso
2: Button
3: Massa
4: Trulli
5: Sato
6: Coulthard
7: Pizzonia / Heidfeld
8: Klien
9: Webber
10: Schumacher

Rakkonen will DNF with a mechanical failure, Barrichello will DNF if some way with it being Brazil.

Yep

Although newscasters and sports commentators here are already giving him first place in the remaining three races, I'm thinking he'll be fighting for third position tomorrow and once he's there he'll just be keeping up.

Although I'm a McLaren fan, I have to say it's great being in Spain right now and that Alonso is in the position he is. The TV is 70% Formula One programming (although 90% of that is Alonso) and everyone's counting on Alonso being the world champion... it's funny, but no one seems to know or care that there is also a constructor's championship.

I gotta say I think JPM has the edge this week, between his win there last year and his recent momentum. Given no McMerc drama I think you'll see a good fight between JPM and Kimi.

I see it like this;

JPM
Kimi
Alonso
Button
Trulli

I never really cared for this circuit or race so this will be the first race this season I am not watching live (other than the 4 trainwrecks that CBS showed in the USA). I'll tape it and watch it Sunday night....

Another anti-clockwise track, Alonso and Kimi have won the other 2 (turkey and San Morino) So i think they should be strong here (when are they not strong?)

Barrichello will be as focus as always at his home GP but don't forget it is also Massa's who i think will give a nice push.

Bee's Early Predictions:

1st: Alonso (cap the championship off in style)
2nd: JPM
3rd: Button
4th: Kimi (McMerc will prob give up in practice..)
5th: Massa
6th: Barrichello
7th: R Schumacher
8th: M schumacher
9th: Trulli
10th DC

DNF's: (not that i want them too of course)

Webber, he will prob collide with his rival for taking out the most cars, Sato.
Sato, Look above.
Klien, i have a feeling its his turn for an engine failure
Karthekayan, he will prob run it off the road as per usual
Albers, meh its a minardi, what do you expect from the poor thing?
Doornos, same as Albers
JV, prob try to impress BMW with a triple salko spin with splits, in an F1 car.

Give the kid a break lol, psychics are not even psychic, its all false.

If anything its just dumb luck lol, just liek Kimi winning this years championship...

My prediction: a big party in the Renault camp. And what better place to party than in Brazil? :)

I don´t think the Brazilian pilots will place so well as some of you are guessing. :indiff:

But I´m sure Alonso will celebrate his championship on sunday. 👍

your pretty new yourself. you cant even edit a quote down to the point your making. come on.

Well I try to be optimistic, but there is no chance of Kimi winning the title anymore. If it is not wrapped up this weekend, it will be in Japan.

Predictions

Kimi
JPM (they have to get a 1-2 at some point ...)
Trulli (if it rains)
Alonso
Button
Webber
Rubens

Blake

well, at least we can keep our hopes up for the constructors' championship 👍
