Put my California setup on the Viper, my tyre wear one made it understeer too much so I put the sprint race one on with some adjustments. It still under steered quite a bit which mean't my front tyres went the quickest, same as it did on the Cali. In the end I made 8 laps with about 20% left of the front tyres, 40% on back left and 60% on back right, again the same tyre wear as my Cali. I could make some adjustments to make the rear tyres wear quicker so 9 laps could have been possible at a stretch. The times were exactly the same as my Cali too, I did a 1.19.6 for my first timed lap, in the race yesterday I did a 1.19.7 on lap 2 I think. So I'm guessing it's something to do with your setup.

Nearer 1 hour. About the same as both V8 rounds together.

What he means is Nel I am an old fruit.

Fixed for ya. :p

I know how it is to get old. My mum spends the afternoon sleeping.

Time for Viper - 2.17.821

Setup:
Suspension
Ride -3/-8
Spring 15.1/15,1
Dampers 7/7 6/6
ARB 4/4
Camber 1.8/0.8
Toe 0.05/-0.05

LSD 10/39/32

Downforce - Full
Ballast position +50
Brake balance 4/8 although I forgot to change it and it was 2/3 when I did that lap.

For better tyre wear - Change Dampers to 3/3 3/3, ARB to 3/2, Brake Balance to 2/3 or 1/4 for even less front tyre wear but not a big difference.

Was this at spa and do you mean 2.17 if it is then wow wow

LETS BE CLEAR xD this is spurgy not me ;) but thanx mate will test it and let you know, will send over my setup so you all can poke holes in it and shout at me for being an idiot, and toad leader i know, i was simply explaining why i was faster on the straights :P

It was at Spa with current regs - 582bhp and 1440kg. And I was just as surprised, I was only 0.194 up on a 2.18.426 at the 2nd sector, but made up over 0.4 in the last one

Oh and fixed, it was mean't to say 2.17.821 :)

About straight line speed Toffe went by me like I was standing still. I was on old tyres and didn't get that good a drive through Eau Rouge, think Toffe had just come out off pits but he must have made about 8-10 car lengths on me. :ouch:

I had that to, it's like they had NOS or something lol.

JB its me in the viper no need xD

Just try the mans setup surely theres something to be gained.:scared: Viper honestly feels like a nice stable drive sure its a little understeery at times but through Eau Rouge i felt far more confidant than in the SLS.:)

Cunny, the Cali was capable of doing 145+mph through Eau Rouge, don't know what you were doing in the Merc but most of the Merc guys did 130-140mph most of the time, then factor in tyre wear you could have been doing 125mph. That's why he got such a good run :)
