What's the target time for Suzuka quali. Not done a lap with the vette yet, just trying to get an idea where I want to be. :sly:

I got 2 minutes flat with the Lexus in S1 for qualifying, remember that week really well, got pole by a second, finished 2nd in the sprint race, and then got crashed off a few times in Race 2 before pitting WAY to early to try get a good jump on everyone, ended the race barely moving trying to protect tyres.
 
I find that tuning doesn't really affect tire wear that much, I would say 20% max tune and 80% driver input! As JK says trying to get the tire wear even is the main issue. I try and make the tires wear a fraction more on the front by shifting weight further forward. I set ballast 50 for feature race but reduced it to 20 for endurance. The only other thing I would do is turn diff settings right down and turn brake balance settings down if you brake really hard, I only use max 3/4 braking power and try and shift early to prevent spinning tires. Most important watch tires and make sure they never go red!

75% 5 and 0 Q will be in the dry however as will the sprint, do you want to do your lap now i can fire up if so?. Stu that will give you a benchmark mate.:sly:

Change i think will confirm 100% after another look will be honest havent had time to look into it properly those settings were something gedi mentioned a little while back so threw it out there.:dunce:

It seems he has changed his mind. Sorry but Im just defending what he accused me for doing something. Plus it might not be lap 13. Maybe 12? I really have no idea and didnt remember because.....well it wasnt important

Ive watched 13 through to the end for this attempted grass overtake through the S bends unless my replay is screwed theres no sign of it Andy/Gedi do you have the race 2 replay or anyone else for that matter going bonkers here.:dunce:

In the meantime I've had to clear up an awful - no pun intended - lot of posts from people who seem to be operating under the impression that the AUP doesn't apply...

Along with more than a few who think that creatively typing expletives is just fine and dandy. It isn't - let it be censored, use a 🤬 emoticon or, best of all, try to express yourself without using expletives at all. Incidentally, creatively typing a low-grade expletive that you think is censored but isn't - like "piss" or "crap" - is equally as bad.

Perhaps those of you who can behave like adults and within the bounds of the AUP (some posts were removed for quoting posts that had to be removed - so don't assume a removed post makes you guilty) who like your race series and wish to keep it can do your best to ensure your fellow members who can't don't end up destroying it.

Let's just be glad that it's a week and not permanent. Still, what does this mean for next Monday's event?

Indeed. Driving around a track is what we do for fun, not what we do for drama.

Tom i asked them both to shut it for 5 minutes while i did my level best to sort it. It was clear where things were heading but neither of them listened which is what has really upset me to be frank. Nextweek? Nothings changed will speak with Gedi on the phone tomorrow nows not a good time.:yuck:

I couldn't agree more, let's just save all of the arguments for outside of this forum or via PM. I think that we should make a rule that should be implemented on the OP meaning that you must comply with the above.

It was Gedi for sneezing and running off track. Now add to that Gedi for being banned. What else has he done?

There were a few contenders. Someone came very close. But the sneeze. Did Micheal Schumacher ever run wide because he sneezed? It's pretty funny.
