Right then, time submitted!

I didn't end up taking anymore time off in the end. I did four laps and invalidated three of them. So I just got frustrated and did Seasonal Events instead

I've received your entries, but I have yet to receive a time from CMvan46 and I'm investigating the legality of an entry from someone who hasn't posted on the forums yet: a newcomer to the BCC called Doncowleone.

Anyone who hasn't posted a time has until this time tomorrow to submit something, or I will either rule out your entry as a DNF or deduct score as penalty for not submitting on time.

However, I have the rest of the times up. I also have your next challenge:

Along with the United States, Europe was the cradle of motorsport. In Europe, the rally as it is now understood was born in 1894, and the first Monte Carlo rally was held 100 years ago: in 1911.

You...won't be going there, since there is no Monte Carlo rally course in GT5. You will instead be going to Toscana Forward, Change Time. Post your single best lap time.

Dirt tires are free, so feel free to snatch a set even if you've maxed out your car development budget.

It is a game :) and one that McRofl is very good at. No doubt would have killed me last season if it wasn't for YLOD.

Yea, I know……it's gonna be tricky, especially when I'm crap on any other surface other than tarmac…I've been defeated by a few blades of grass a few times……

The handbrake is your friend, use it :D there's another thing which you could do it stop you getting killed, but I won't reveal it…… :D

Rally was my favorite event last season and this. I actually like driving street cars on dirt better than rally cars.

@Doncowleone: Too bad...however, I don't think I should remove you from the list: you entered, after all, and I do need to respect that. Besides, this is for fun more than anything else.

So I'll tell you what: I'll give you a score penalty for not meeting the requirements at first, you'll stay in, and by next week you must prepare a new car. This way, you can still try your hand at some bragging rights.

👍 then I look forward to the next race. I'll be sure and choose my car and upgrades more wisely. For one I wont buy a 4wd understeering monster like the S4.

Apart from its rubbish gear ratios I'm liking the golf on dirt so far, but I guess we'll see when the times are in

Me too, I'm taking seconds off my lap times as I try new lines. Also it's fun rounding the hairpin using just the throttle and not touching the steering!

After a week of waiting for an RS4 to turn up in my UCD, I had one appear yesterday, too late but never mind. I've also just seen a Jaguar E-Type that I was looking out for, though considering it's an off-road event this week, maybe it's for the best that didn't turn up in time.

Yeah i love that hairpin, I was never really of fan of this track before but I'm starting to understand it a bit and its actually quite fun once you get into it

Awesome, another rally event. Look forward to having a go in the Clio. RWD on such a short wheelbase on dirt should be interesting. I wonder if I'll be able to hold off the RS4's massive power and traction off road?

You should be, because my car weighs a little more than the moon…a 1.4 ton house with 450hp off road, I predicted it to end badly, but not this bad……

times I've stuffed it=15
times I haven't=2
:(

The Golf is brilliant for throwing through the corners on this course, if anything the dirt tyres give more grip here than the sports tyres did round Rome (maybe there's just more room for me to slide around!).

How fast are the two times you've made it though? It only takes one good lap. (Or as I found out in a previous round, one very lucky lap!) I'm guessing if you're going red it's because you are on the limit, so the two good times are probably competitive.
