Is there any way you could stop referring to it as "the beast"? You make it sound like it's a heck of a car. It's really only a heck of a car on paper. The Veyron gets its plums handed to it in a lady's handbag by several other road cars (not even counting race cars like Formula One). Calling the Veyron "the beast" is like referring to a Totino's frozen pizza as "the beast". It's just totally undeserved hype.

It reminds me of the Super Bowl post-game comment about the upcoming Daytona 500 and "the greatest drivers in the world".

Its a beast anyway you look at it, i think alot of people would agree here also, just cause its not that great in GT5 doesnt mean it doesnt deserve the title.

Dodge Viper ACR

Lap times are what matter but if your just look for ZOMG it goes 700mph then there are a few cars although not as common or well known as the Veyron for example.

I just saw the 3 minute trailer on NatGeo website. Very interesting how they keep comparing it to airplane manufacturing. Now I want to watch the whole show to see what else they say about the manufacturing process.
