I like it :)

I was online just to look and you even get your offline
scores ranked!
Crash mode is better than before i think and traffic check
works well...and i had a great vertical takedown 👍

I really like the Crashbreaker option in races. AI punk take you down? Just hit the R2 button and make them wish they never even tailgated you.

It's vehicular Jihad!

I think the Crash mode is also better. At first I didn´t like it much, but now it´s cool to test different cars to see which one fits each section better, the best path, who to crash first... I think these made the Crash mode not so shallow as before.

Yes! The game is out today, but I won't be able to get it until Sunday. :(

I'm getting the XBox version now that my brother isn't getting it. It's supposed to be clearer than the PS2 and I can get to play it on the large 32" screen. :p

Bought Revenge on Friday...what an awesome game. I love it! Traffic Checking and the Race Crashbreaker are awesome, and I love all these new vehicles.

It's also nice on the 60" screen :P

I got the game yesterday, and loving evey minute of it! :D

I've got a question, Is the DFP compatible with this new game? I hated the fact that Burnout 3 didn't let you use the DFP AT ALL!!

I doubt it would be compatible...it's an EA game, after all, and one of the most arcadey racing franchises out there...

I don't really think Burnout's physics could be playable with a wheel, anyway....When a friend of mine first got his DFP, we tried it with NFSU for the hell of it...'twas quite difficult and awkward... :odd:

i have DFP and tried playing Burnout 3 with it... it sucks i can tell ya... would probably work better with 180 degree mode... 900 degree is to much for that fast arcade game...

If you guys haven't noticed the Logitech open-wheel car in the game...

The DFP can be used fully except without 900 degree rotation. The right flappy paddle is used for boost and the R2 button on the wheel itself is for crashbreakers.

I wouldn't use the DFP for Burnout. You'll probably ruin the wheel by jerking it back and forth.

I completely forgot to post about this game! BUrnout revenge is excellent IMO. If you liked the other burnouts then this is another must buy. My girlfriend and I rented it for a weekend when it came out and I ended up around 25% thru the game after a ton of hours of playing. The crash modes are more insane than ever! 👍 I rented it for the x-box but I am going to buy this game eventually.

I finished levels 1 to 7 so far. All with perfect. My rank is Elite already, it can´t go any higher. I think there's only cars to unlock now.

Yeah, just cars after reaching Elite.

I unlocked 1-10 with Elite rank at 84% completed and I just got bored with it.

I have the demo, and it's fun. But, it's not a lot different than BO3. The game play, is exactly the same, but with new additions. The "revenge" button feature is pretty damn cool. Plus, after pushing the button to blow up, you can move your car in the way of other approaching cars to block them. Neat.

Brilliant.

I got it a couple of weeks back and it's not come out of the drive yet. It's the huge rock anthem to GT's dramatic Opera. In fact, I think I like it more than GT... (Sacrilege!!!)

The thing is I can only play on my PS2 in about 20 minute chunks, I don't have time to spend hours on it. So GT can be tricky with many races taking longer than this. Burnout is perfect, load up, strap in and have the technomagic of EA pump noise, colours and explosions into your head for 20 minutes. If someone wrecks you, well, explode yourself in their face and wreck them back, or catch them up and stuff them into a bus. Then get a ramp and jump a mobile diner into a traffic jam.

If you play racing games to feel like you're really there in the seat covered in nomex, taking part in 24h du Mans '92 or something, then it's not for you. If you play video games to have fun and cackle like a hyena at the hilarity, then you need this in your life. The crash modes seem harder than 3, and the AI is more aggressive. I never got taken out in 3 as much as in 4. And it seems a bit harder to make takedowns, where in 3 you could just force someone against the track edge to take them out, not so in 4, you need to give them a proper heavy shunt to do it. But, to ease things up you can ram all the traffic on your side of the road causing an avalanche of steel and get them that way, or use the crashbreaker that the AI doesn't have.

I love it.

Kurtis.

I think the Crash mode in Revenge it's easier than Burnout 3's. It's just a bit different, but after you get used to it you get Gold all the time.

I got a bit bored of Burnout Revenge lately, I haven´t played it in a couple of weeks. But that's normal for me, I'm still stuck at 42% in GT4. I'll finish both eventually.

To be honest I think the crash mode in Burnout 3 is better. You could see the cars crashing to cars better in 3, as in Revenge it focuses on your car more and you can't see whats going on. :( But most of the time it can be fine.

Does anyone play online at all? Though in different countries I don't think the lag would be too bad.

My tag is :tha_con

Maybe we can get some games in sometime.
