Cache Clearing Times

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to clear the cache on my GT5 account.The only problem is that I started this process 11 hours ago !!!!!......and this thing is still saying "DELETING,please wait"...............is this normal????

Clearing the cache should take, at most, two minutes.

Yea it's usually more like 15 seconds and it's done.

The more you play online (this includes seasonals) and the longer the time inbetween clearing your cache, the longer it will take. However, never heard of it taking that long. Longest for me is a minute or so. I would say you have something more serious going on.

If you stop the procedure by closing the PS3, you can load the second to last save game that recent patch introduced.

Yea, there's a back-up save file. If anything happens to your current save file (corrupted file), then delete it and load up GT5 so that it uses your back-up.

Start up your ps3. Go to ur game section. Look for. Saved Data Utility (PS3tm) Click it. You will see two game folders. Delete the 1st one. And click on ur second game folder (GT5 Backup) it will ask if you want to open or use. Click yes. Then click on the GT5 game And your good to go.
