Did anyone hear about this besides the people living in California??
I also forgot to mention the incredible snow they are getting too.
Imagine seeing this:

Well, of course, I've heard of it. ;) The damn freeway was closed yesterday – I had to take the Ridge Route to school, which is a hundred year-old road built before the freeway was put in, and takes at least twice as long as the freeway. I barely got to school in time.

The day I came back from Thailand (Sunday), I saw at least a dozen accidents on the way from the airport to my home. Insane weather… the worst I've ever seen here. There was a leak in our front door, and now the wood under the carpet is soaked, and it's hard to let it airdry, since it's so cold.

This is scary....This reminds me of the movie: the day after tomorrow.....We need to stop polluting......Stop polluting........Stop polluting....Man I'm paranoid...Anyone else notice the string of weird weather happening lately?

Ya! That was weird, then the next day its all warm again, then at night, it dumps another 3 ft......The storm alaska just had -60 degrees, and power is knocked out.....Imagine that......

It has nothing to do with pollution. Is it global warming? Oh... wait, it's cold now, so it must be climate change! Yeah, that must be it!

Mudslides always happen in southern California. The severity is higher this year only because of the consecutive storms we had.

There are a lot of hills here in SoCal, so rain will bring us mudslides. But, this season has been the worse ever in my 30+ years of living here. Ground covers drape my entire backyard. The water run off created a huge 12 to 20 foot deep pond down a small canyon near my home. Some hills near us fell. But, they don't block a road, or anything, but it was still an awesome sight to see a huge portion of a hill just fall off. It rained for 9 days, with one day for a break. I've never seen it rain this much, ever.

I live more toward San Francisco and I left for the LA area last Sun... GREAT timing because the damn rain followed us the whole way there and it just so happened we were smack in the middle of where ALL the storms were coming thru. :grumpy: Today was so damn beatiful though! :)

Ok, today was REALLY weird. we had Snow, sleet, fog, rain, hail and nothing. last night we even had a thunder and lightening storm! what is happening....

Welp, for me it was sunny all day. I'm highly enjoying the storms, because this upcoming weekend (the 15th) me, my girlfriend, and 2 friends are going snowboarding. Lots and lots of snow on the mountains, and i think the rains are done for a little bit now.. There wasnt a cloud to be seen last time i was outside.

Last weekend was crazy though. I went with my girlfriend to visit her mom in Castaic and the second day we were out there was a river of muddy water running under the freeway and all the way up to castaic lake. Youcouldn't access the lake or the park that was around it because roads were closed off due to flooding. But where im at, it's pretty secure... The power was out yesterday in west covina when i tried to go to Best Buy, though.

Im hoping it'll rain again today for the whole day and then stop friday morning, but i don't think that will happen. Either way, its still very chilly at night, and it oughta be a lot colder up in the mountains.. The mountain we're going to snowboard on is Bear Mountain. We'll be staying at my friends house in ArrowBear.. That's 3 hours from where i live, so leaving early sat. morning is going to be a task.. We'll have to wake up at 3:30 am! Thats pretty early. Haha.

Okay, so i suppose im blabbing...

That is EXACTLY what we had yesterday! Snowed in the morning at 30 degrees, next hail, after that came the rain and a lot of it enought to cause flooding, all this followed by devostating fog that caused a 100 car accident killing 2 people. Then to top all that off we had sever thunder storms. Strangest day I have ever seen in Michigan. Started at 30 degrees went to 58 all in one day. And its going to be down to -1 in about 2 days. :guilty:
