Call of Duty Black Ops III Leaked - Treyarch Developed

Ran in to what I can only call a glitch on Safeguard today twice, both times it happened were in overtime and we were the second team to escort the robot. The robot had got about half way to the objective and was then shut down by the enemies, once it had rebooted it wouldn't move no matter how many people we had around it, it stayed like this for the whole round which caused us to lose both games automatically. Anyone else experienced this? I'm on XB1 if that matters.

I have to say I am loving this game though, maybe even more than Black Ops 2 , after hating Advanced Warfare and the movement I was doubting this game but now I've played it I love it, the whole thrust jump system I feel is just better implemented and a lot smoother than it was on AW. Wall running is pretty cool as well but I've yet to master running and gunning at the same time which has caused me some silly deaths.

I haven't played since Black Ops II but I was also iffy about the movement system before I got it, it was something I made me stay away in the past game. However, once you figure out how to utilize it, it's actually a really great technique. It makes for some good ambushing, and forces players to be wary of second story windows and ledges, as they aren't as safe as they used to be. I've been able to jump behind enemies before they kill me, and get kill shots from it, and once you figure out how to use to use it for evasion it makes for some pretty intense runs.

I've been sticking to domination and It's great, but far to often you run into teams pretty much playing TDM on it. I'm sure that's something that plague all objective game modes though. I just wish there was some way to avoid it when you're playing solo.

Do people still buy these games? I thought everyone realised how crap they were a few years ago
Didn't buy it, lucky for me. I rented it. It's going back tomorrow. Would have been today but we have no postal service today, on account of Veteran's Day.

COD: Black Ops II wasn't all that bad. It was pretty good. Fantastic, compared to this pile of crap.

I've seen some gameplay. It doesn't look that good on the PS3. :ill:

Believe it. Looks worse from what I've seen on YT. Just horrible. And, it's very 'strobe-like' in movement. Just terrible.

I haven't watched any gameplay since the beta. Is it as colorful as Advanced Warfare? I'm really tempted to pick up that game, even though the boost system isn't as fluid as BO3. I love the visuals since it's not the typical dull hues you would find in most FPS games and previous CoD titles. It's vibrant and everything pops whilst retaining the almost-cyberpunk look to all of the soldiers.

They haven't really been anything spectacular, but they weren't really bad games either. However, the last few games were a bit controversial if anything.

I'm having fun with it. The coop Campaign makes for alot of fun with a group. When playing Realistic, it really rely's on team work. The multiplayer is always fun, if you can get a group of competent players, especially if they are the enemy. Zombies is something I never dabbled in before, so this is at least a new component for me.

If you take the game for what it is, a quick game to pick up and just blast threw a few games easily, it actually holds a pretty good spot on something people like to pick up and play often. It's something to escape from all the over tedious games for a bit. It's like the Ridge Racer to your Gran Turismo.

What was the last game you played? Treyarch's releases are usually very solid, and Black Ops 3 is no exception (plus it's got a ton of content).

The last few non-Treyarch releases have been pretty weak. Ghosts (Infinity Ward and Neversoft) was a step down from Black Ops 2 as it left out some well received features in Black Ops 3 and the maps were poorly designed. The campaign had a horrible cliffhanger ending as well. The game was a mess on most PCs even with it's insanely high minimum specs. It wasn't bad per se, but it was nowhere near as good as the other games.

Advanced Warfare (Sledgehammer Games) was in theory a great idea. It changed up the main COD gameplay enough whilst keeping the fast-paced twitch shooter that everyone knows. However the exo-suit mechanic meant everyone flew around at light-speed on maps that were the same size as ones from previous games and you ended up having horrible spawns and bad hit registration because you essentially teleported everywhere. They also had a loot system that was sorely abused. When playing you'd get a 'supply drop' every once in a while that gave you a chance at getting a gun variant that had different stats. The rare variants were very powerful but it was entirely based on chance because they weren't gonna monetise it, right? Nope, it's a AAA game in 2015. Of course there'll be monetisation. They released Advanced Supply Drops which had even better weapons and were available to buy. The studio co-founder was a massive troll as well.

The main devs didn't plan to bring the game to last-gen, so another studio was tasked with porting it and it shows. The game runs great on current-gen systems.

What platform are you using? Advanced Warfare and Ghosts are both dead on most consoles because of the mediocrity. Black Ops 2 is probably more popular on last-gen and Black Ops 3 is no doubt the most popular on current gen.

More than likely it would be PS3, but I'm due for an upgrade, though. :/

It's funny you say this as yesterday I realised how much easier it is to win when I started playing a little more TDM-style compared to my previous play style which I will call blindly running in to the objective, or having 3 or 4 people stacked up in the hardpoint which is so easy to clear with a War Machine or Gravity Spikes. So now instead I will loiter around the outside of the hardpoint or a little further up the route in safeguard and the amount of enemies who don't expect you there is amazing, my average match K/D has shot up from ~0.9 to 2+ and I feel we can advance so much easier like this. Of course if no one else is escorting the robot or holding down the hardpoint I will do my bit but having more than 1 person holding the objective is just wasteful IMO.

I gave up on domination as soon as hardpoint was introduced but from your description it sounds exactly how I remember it. Even the Arena mode has players who seem to think every game mode is TDM, it appears to be all about K/D to them and not the winning.

Yesterday it was so bad that my whole team did no go after one point. They just kept scattering around the map and camped. It was so annoying, because not only was I the only one on my team going for objectives, but they couldn't even kill anything for me, atleast. Ended up losing horribly. Tried the next game hoping I would get a different team, but it threw me on with the same people so I just signed off for the night lol.

I'll go for objective most of the time, but I only blindly rush in if someone is taking the mid point objective. Who ever has that usually wins the game. Your definitely right about War Machine though. I use that the most and in tight spaces it does damage. I kill my self far to often with it though

Tried to change my create a class names, words like Shottie and SMG are considered profanity. Come on!

I can't think of a game that doesn't have a broken swear filter.

An excellent remedy to this is to not include one. If you get offended by "bad words," you shouldn't be playing multiplayer video games.

"But Dan, children could be playing!"

Why would you let a child play Call of Duty? Oh right, terrible parenting.

Alright stupid question alert, but if I get the season pass for the PS4 version, will I get all the zombie DLC maps with it including future maps? (And yes I did Google it, but I am still unsure, I have never bought a season pass before.)

The Season Pass guarantees you four map packs including Zombies DLC.

Each game since Black Ops (barring MW3) has included at least four multiplayer maps and a wave map. Black Ops, Black Ops 2 and Advanced Warfare had a zombies map; Ghosts had an extinction map.

Thanks. After further research, I get it now! 💡 Somehow I thought the 4 DLC's were already released and they had more to come, but I can see they will release them overtime.

*Speaks in George Romero voice* "The coolest thing? The PS4 version gets them first."

IGN gave it a 9.2? That's pretty impressive. I myself would say this is nearing 10/10, I love BO3 so far.

Zombies: Shadows of Evil, such a huge map, so many new things, overall very impressed with the new features and Zombies so far.

Multiplayer: 22.5 hrs. played, 1st Prestige, Level 32, absolutely love multiplayer. Leveling system reminds me of World At war, slow, but challenges are key.

I'm glad Treyarch didn't let me down, never have, and I think I can officially say they never will.
Easily, by far, THE BEST COD EVER MADE. IMO. I have played through the co-op campaign several times with many people including friends, family, and randoms.

I will have to check my stats but I have a lot of time into this game over the last week that I was off on vacation with my lan party. Just the amount of content in this game is beyond insane.

  • 4 player drop in drop out co-op campaign (and wow what an amazing campaign it is. Especially the "Inception" level.) This co-op can also be played online with randoms.
  • 4 player zombies. Can also be played with randoms
  • multiplayer. Overall I am truly enjoying the mp and I have not said that since WAW. I stick with Domination.
  • Nightmare mode (after you beat campaign it unlocks) This is a really dang good twist on the campaign from another perspective and played in a different order. It also has zombies mixed in with regular enemies. Very fun and even longer with a twist on zombie mode added in.
  • Another zombie mode in the co-op campaign lobby.
  • Giant zombie mode (if you have the biggest pre-order bundle)
That is an insane amount of content in the game at launch. Much of that could have easily been added later as dlc but Treyarch wanted to release the most content as possible to please the fans.

Seriously Treyarch, incredible job with BO3. One of the best games of 2015 so far for me in terms of mp.

Last COD game I purchased was WAW. I rented all the rest. BO3 is by far the best cod IMO.
