Man up and snipe without any of those goodies like I do :P My sniper class is the WA2000 with a HBS for defensive purposes, the M9, Claymores, Scavenger Pro, Cold-Blooded Pro, and Ninja Pro. I don't have to worry about air support or getting tracked down by people with an HBS. Tubers and runners who get past my claymores are my real threat, and the occasional person who can get behind me.

I find Hardcore frustrating because of the lack of being able to pinpoint gunfire. This is likely not as much as an issue with a good 5.1 stereo system or good headphones, but normally only using TV speakers makes pinpointing friendly or enemy gunfire difficult. Not using a microphone likely makes Hardcore more frustrating also, as good communication could solve some locating issues.

We should do some hardcore TDMs. I had some fun playing that, recently. And sniping would be really cool in hardcore, because if you want to stay hidden, they can't spot the sniper with the kill cam replay. Too bad you still have to be able to aim, which prevents me from sniping, even in hardcore. :p

Would you guys be up for some hardcore?

Can't hurt, although it may take getting used to. I'm a radar whore by instinct haha.

Man up? M21w suppression and M9 with suppression CB/Marathon/Ninja Pro lol

Did someone say hardcore? That's all I do these days. Count me in!

We all are. Hardcore definitely was slower, but lobbies I ended up in, they weren't so bad that camping was hardcore. It was almost as though guys playing hardcore are used to playing hardcore. Slow, but fairly normal flow.

Having said that, I bet that score would be lower in hardcore TDMs compared to the normal.

I don't play much hardcore, but add a6m5zero, and I'll let you know when I am. :)

You have been added.

From my hardcore experience. The scores are usually much lower, and often very close. I'd say a bit less than 50% of games hit score limit, and when they do, it's usually in the last 1-2 minutes of the game.

Also, if anyone would like to add me, feel free. I play on both PSNs, but use L86 most of the time.

Some nice games tonight, Cam. Too bad we had hell of a time with the match making. It kept separating us or kicking us, what a pain. Connection was unstable too, especially earlier.

We had some good matches though. On Wasteland, we actually finished 1-2! I know I said that Quarry match was going to be my last one, but the way lost(I went negative), I had to pay them back. I got MVP, with my second Pave Low barely making entrance at the buzzer. :p:tup:

Haha I guess I was decent, thanks man :)

I find hardcore frustrating because there are always several people sitting in a corner with a Silenced M21 and they never move.

Which makes a team of 5/6 all with mics a much better experience! Campers/snipers in odd spots are normally disposed of fairly quickly. Can't beat solid Intel 👍

My K: D rate is 1.5 since PSN came back up. Happy with that.

I start out 9-1, guess where I finish? 15-16.. ouch. I wish I was consistent haha.

Sorry I had to go you guys, but that was a blast! It's great to know people can still play methodically, it was a great time :)

I was hosting most of the night, and it was beautiful. :p

By the way, Vausgoth(my MW2 friend) was apologizing to you in our chat for dropping a crate on your head.

I was En Fuego. Something like 4 match winning kills. We got our behinds handed to us the game after you left a6. It was not pretty.

I'm getting tired of this quick scoping rubbish. There should not be 8 people with sniper rifles on a map like Highrise. Not to mention it's just as unbalancing as the akimbo models were. And the hit detection is woefully bad. I should not die when someone's crosshairs are nowhere near me. Hopefully with Stopping Power gone in MW3 it won't be such a problem.

I know the feeling. Running around wasteland with 6 snipers on 1 team isn't fun.

I got a real good match winning cam today. On Afghan, there was this one guy who kept getting me with the last stand perk. I HATE this perk.

With the match nearing the end, mother trucker gets me again! I respawn not very far, but not close enough to go get him before the match ended. I hauled ass to get as close as I can, still over 100 yards/meters or so & around the corner. I chuck the flash bang as a last ditch attempt. I got him for the win, and it was beautiful seeing the flash bang spinning & falling toward the helpless bastard.

P.S. Flash bang went off probably 20~30 feet in the air, but it was still enough to get him!

Played this for the first time in a couple of months today. Went in a TDM with an ACR, and good lord that thing is rediculous!

Cool story bro

Those are the best kind of winning kills. The "Oh crap time is running out" grenade chuck, especially the dumb luck ones where you hope someone is near the spot. Had one of those on Wasteland lonnnnnng ago. Chucked a 'nade over the hedge row and someone was running past. Also, I always crack up when I get a dumb luck sticky, which is quite often. I swear I'm the master of the Stuck! kill. I can hit a guy running through a building without even seeing him.

I'm the worst grenade/semtex dodger. It doesn't even matter if it sticks or not. I rarely get away in time, especially when I'm trying to bring someone down. No, I'm gonna see if I can drop my target before the 'nade goes off.

I don't know about ridiculous, but it is my go-to gun. :D

^When I was 0-0-4 in the Underpass game, I switched to my ACR. I finished 16-4-5. :D

Nice. 👍 The gun is pretty versatile, very accurate, fast fire rate. Only other gun I can do what I do with ACR is SCAR. Love the SCAR, too.

I played Black Ops today out of boredom, and remembered why I put it away the second or third day it was out. God, let's just say it sucked. Haven't gotten on MW2 in a few days but I'm sure excited to now after that..

I sure hope MW3 will be at least as good the MW2. We all have issues with parts of the multi-player game play on MW2, but bottom line, we racked up some hours on that thing.

Today, I tried Sit Rep, and also USP. I gave up on Sit Rep after not seeing a single explosive for a game & a half, and USP after, wait for it, one kill. :dopey: I think I died 10 to 20 times trying to get that one kill. The end.

Yeah, I always thought MW2 was by far the most complete multiplayer game I own. Granted, I only own about ten games at most, but MW2 and GT5 have been basically my entire playlist since I got my PS3 two years ago.

Meanwhile, I've unlocked SitRep Pro 5 times and have over a thousand kills with the M9 and USP each.

Also, go hop back on

Well it looks like we know who would bag more bad guys as a local cop :sly:.

It took forever to get SitRep Pro, but I can't play without it. I might not see any claymores for games on end, but the one time I need to switch for Ninja I'll stumble into 3 or 4. And I never really cared for the USP, I don't know why. The M9 is my secondary, and I can be pretty deadly with it if I need to be. Super easy to rapidly fire off 5-6 shots and down someone and still have ammo to spare.

Scored my second Nuke earlier tonight on Estate. Started out 1-1 then went bonkers. I stayed near the house, running from the front to the back dropping people as I went. Harrier got me to I think 12 or 13, then my Chopper Gunner got me to 23. I had 2 minutes to find 2 people, and they were nowhere near the house. I finally hit 25 with like a minute to go, and BOOM!

Edit: You beaches going to hop on? I took a break and will be back on in a bit after I check out the webbies for a bit.

I love beaches, but I actually have to work tomorrow, like in the morning? Sorry Cody.

I must say, handgun challenge was far easier with the .44 Magnum. I'm up to 9 kills currently. Don't laugh.

Sitrep just isn't gonna happen. Pro sounds really cool, but unless I play against myself, I won't be able to find enough claymores to blow up!
