I got 4 or 5 Nukes in my record, and I haven't play in a long time(like three months ago),the best way to archive this is :

>Get an M4 with holographic and run-gun like a chicken with no sense of direction or purpose( I use Marathon/Stopping Power/Commando as perk setup, well rather used when I used to play COD games)
>Buy Harrier Strike/Chopper Gunner/Tactical Nuke(well obvious kill-streak is obvious)
>Use Harrier Strike in areas were noobs might be hiding.
>Chopper gunner is actually a bit more deadly than the AC-130,in some maps(the one that reminiscent the second mission, I forgot the name).
>And presto get nuke.

The problem with this is in maps like the one similar to the sniper mission in COD4,where everyone has a Stinger or something that get your flying stuff down.

That's why you need killstreaks 11/15/25.

Use the EMP, and nothing but bullets will fly at you. Bit harder, but the nuke will happen.

Me, Azuremen, L86 & Cam ran together for little bit. We did pretty good, considering. I've been using Azure's favorite gun UMP with marathon, and it's been working pretty good.

:p

Last game, it was just me & L86, but we kicked their butt, didn't we. :D This 'FLY' clan or whatever beat us on Scrapyard, but we handed their butts on Rundown for our last game. 👍

Yeah, good games. Only that one game we lost, the one right before I left. I now know that if I ever get a Nuke, it will most definitely be on Wasteland. My only killstreaks of the night were there, and I would have a second Pave Low in the first Wasteland game if it wasn't for a lucky tube shot. All around, I thought we were good 👍.

Hey. I play mw2 a lot. Please add me. I usually play FFA or GW. S and d is good too.

We absolutely dominated them. The funny part was, I had given up trying but still managed to destroy them even though I was rushing against guys with M-L-C / Tac Knife.

Also, CAMPER! :D

I got mad.

I just wasn't in the mood to deal with a team of knifers and such.

Cody, you should have stuck around. Next match, their running game might have worked in Scrapyard, but not so much in Rundown. I don't know what kind of running they were doing, because they were tripping my claymores like crazy. If they had marathon, they should've been able to run right through those. Also, they kept taking the most predictable routes, and I kept pumping them with the AA12.

Like L86 mentioned, they were calling us campers, but what do you call running around like chickens with head cut-off? They just kept coming, we just kept reeling the kills in. Like with sports, if you can't adapt, you won't come back!

P.S. Cam: Japan got lucky today. :p

No luck, solid victory. We did the exact same thing to Brazil, so we've got nothing to whine about. Japan beat pretty much all the best teams, save Brazil and France, so they very much deserved the crown. Congrats.

I really like UMP. :p I've been able to push the pace a little more with this thing. With my internet, first couple shots usually doesn't count, but UMP really helps with its' combination of stopping power & accuracy.

I can't take anything away from Nadeshiko Japan's victory, but I do believe that a lot of things went their way, man. I just feel so bad for the American girls, because you can just tell they are such nice & likable people. Being an NBA fan, not used to that. Not that much. Very proud of both teams, but especially of our undersized underdog team today. :D

Meh, I contest that. Japan played a good game, but that very easily could have been a blowout. If we could have put any of the three easy chances we had in the first half, it would have been over with the way we were playing. And there were a few bonehead coaching moves (if anyone wants more detail on the details, just ask) on our part as well. I'll say we played better overall, but Japan made way fewer mistakes, and that was the difference. I was in shock. I said "could have" a lot in that post..

EDIT: And do I even need to mention that outrageous challenge at the end of the game? I don't watch a lot of soccer, but all I saw during the game were a bunch of FIFA "Fair Play" commercials, and to see a sure match winning goal (barring an amazing save) broken up by that seemed a bit ironic to me. That would have been the game too.

And a6, speaking of that, I just went on and ran with the UMP: 4 Harriers and a Pave Low :D. That thing is awesome.

I couldn't play today, but I really want to run with some numbers soon. Would anyone be up for some tomorrow night?

Don't be too sure about that. As you said in your post, Team USA should have connected for so many goals, but they couldn't. Not even in much easier, maybe automatic, penalty kicks.

Again, I think Japan played unbelievably well, but they definitely had few things go their way. ;)

Good point, and Carli Lloyd did have the ball at the time of that challenge, so she probably would have just tapped it to the goalie. She played absolutely terrible in my opinion (on the offensive end), she had the two easiest chances of the match and missed horribly on both. And you guys probably did deserve it. The first goal you guys had was a major gift, just really bad defense from us. It was a great World Cup to watch though, I'm very happy for the Japanese, and Sawa especially 👍. And I'd love to play, but I don't know what time I'll be home from the movie theater with my girlfriend tomorrow, I'll be sure to check in :) .

Just tell her you gotta play some MW2. She'll understand. :p

Did you see Sawa had the lightweight perk on for this?

P.S. And that first goal? Yeah, it was off a mistake, but when Solo went right, she(I forget her name) kicked it off the outside of her left foot!

Haha I do that a lot to begin with. I even make her watch me play when she's over here, its pretty epic :). And I really have waited too long to see Harry Potter. Buehler had it cleared out of the box, but Krieger got in the way and knocked right to the Japanese player 👎. Just a lot of silly mistakes. The biggest management mistakes had to be keeping Carli Lloyd in instead of Amy Rodriguez, and having Tobin Heath (why did this happen?) and Lloyd taking PKs instead of a Christie Rampone or a Heather O'Reilly, for example.

Totally agreed, the American girls were great to watch and root for. Unlike the US men they played the whole tournament and had great efforts in every game. The only sorta letdowns were parts of against Sweden and of course the pk's in the final. Regardless I'm quite proud of how they conducted their business the whole tournament. :D

Suppose I'm just demonstrating that to me losing graciously is more important than winning in many cases. Actually in my book winning graciously is probably equally important. Anyway... kinda as you noted "could have" and "should have" never count on the score sheet. Sure we could have been up 3-nil at halftime, but to be blunt as balls didn't cross goal lines it simply doesn't matter.

Yeah that Sawa touch was amazing.

Agreed, I think they did the best they could, I was just making conversation about what I saw that might have happened to shift momentum in the game. My favorite moment from the entire tournament was the way Abby Wambach carried herself in the post game interview. I was so proud of how big of a person she was 👍.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I'm still trying to get over the part about Harry Potter.

Well... it seems that nobody will be on tonight, but I was tired & all messed up today anyway. Maybe tomorrow night?

In many ways they played a fantastic match, one of their best in the tourney. However each time they got the lead, well either they got a little complacent or the Japanese turned up their focus a little more... or maybe a combination of both. However it happened, those few defensive errors were killers but they were also definitively "forced" errors if you know what I mean.

Missed Abby's interview as the bar I was at immediately went back to music after the match ended but I trust your analysis. Very good to hear too. Sports(wo)manship is in short supply these days unfortunately, so your report makes me happy in that regard. :)

Haha... always humble A6. Hey your girls had an amazing tourney... I mean given everything involved, just wow man. Then to win it all in style like they did. Icing. The only minor, and I mean minor, blemish was the Red Card. But to be fair, most defenders in that position would have taken the same risk to prevent a clear shot on goal. Pretty much like a last second flagrant foul in the NBA, you just can't allow a layup like that in the final seconds of a tie game ;).

Alright, back to Call of Duty so I can get the soccer game out of my head. I went on earlier and my best game was 33-17 on Quarry with a Pave Low, other than that I kinda sucked. I switched from Lightweight on my UMP class to Stopping Power and it helped a ton.

EDIT: I think I'm gonna change my top killstreak to Emergency Airdrop instead of Pave Low, should I?

Got about 3 kills with UMP out of about 13000, just find it dull as everyone uses it (because it's massively overpowered).

RAR, random team killers tonight. Bored. Fix it Activision, I don't mind teamkilling existing, I think it's good that if a stray grenade or toob goes somewhere it shouldn't that it kills a team mate, however, some moron constantly shooting you is another matter.

Anyone who TKs a team-mate with bullets more than twice should get booted.

I was just in a lobby with someone who was ordering the whole team about like it was his server or something.

Was initially quite funny, then he got annoying.
He was following people around and saying things like "thats a camping spot, please move on, no dont sit there, looking at me, move along, no camping on this server please"

Someone shot him, so he was like "no teamkilling, anyone found teamkilling will be wiped off the server" etc etc

When we got back to the lobby, he was bombarded with abuse, and by the time we'd had a round at FUEL where EVERYONE was killing him, he left the next lobby.

What a 🤬

I had an interesting round at sub base where I went 21-8 using a silly running class and knifing people.
The highlight for me was when I found the entire team hiding behind the crates and containers out the back, and knifed 2, stuck one who killed another two and then I shot the last one while he was wondering what happened.

:D:tup:

VEXED: That is the funniest MW2 story I've ever heard.

Sureboss: You are right about UMP. It is crazy powerful, and as Cody always note, it is crazy accurate, too. Cam, you switched on the stopping power, and you are right, it does help, but it's more like turbo boost. It's like with the SCAR. Stopping power would be awesome on it, but strictly optional. AWESOME guns. :p

icelt: Great point on the red card. 👍 There are similarities to those borderline physical NBA foul with the game on the line. I caught Abby's interview after the game, and she was great. She was even going over to the Japanese side, and congratulating them. She's very classy. Too bad she's on the wrong team. <- very clever lol

Haha yeah, I tried Hardline with my UMP and I was having a hard time getting kills. I think its just because I was thinking about it. I got a few Emergency Airdrops today and figured out the hard way that the drop marker isn't that accurate. I lost a Harrier and a Sentry Gun to building tops. I just laughed . And yeah, I don't think I've ever seen an athlete be that gracious in my life. Either that or the Tigers pitcher (can't remember the name, started with a G) that had his perfect game taken by that umpire. Anyway, she was beyond admirable 👍.

My favorite second perk to go with the UMP gotta be the Cold Blooded Pro. But like you said, I have also switched to stopping power after some bad games, and it seemed to help me as well. I've also ran Hardline, and it's fun running some different combinations.

Yeah there are lots of ways to make that fun :). And I don't mean to keep bringing up soccer (my profile and avatar will be changed soon ), but Hope Solo and Abby Wambach are on Letterman right now, and I just can't help but be amazed at how amazing they are carrying themselves. They're cracking jokes, telling stories about the respect of the Japanese, I'm just speechless. I am so proud of these girls and am going to miss them being in the mainstream. I hope I can catch them on TV soon, I think I may actually have more respect and love for these ladies than men sometimes. 👍

i like using the first recon class to tactical knife everyone while running with marathon.

I don't think you're going to get much approval here with that .

I don't know. We all do something that upset others. I might curse at them in private, but I'm not going to trash anyone on the mic, or on here. Modders and hackers are different story. :p

Yeah, to me whenever I find someone doing something that pisses me off, surprisingly I don't react angrily, although I would expect myself to. I don't really understand why. Quickscopers are my least favorite, but at least they're an easy kill when they miss. Did I mention I lost a Chopper Gunner from an Emergency Airdrop to a rooftop? I was livid hahaha .
