Yesterday evening while playing S&D online with a few mates we had a snake in our group who was playing for the other side :mad:.

Three team members from the opposite side had [RED] as there clan tag and a member on our side had [RED] as his clan tag :odd:. The team member on our side with [RED] as his clan tag would instantly kill himself or be killed and then using his mobile phone or another means of contacting the [RED] clan members from the opposite side would then inform them of where we were on the map and more importantly at which target we were at A or B. I could clearly hear him telling the other sides [RED] clan members everything.

Ahh we used to have trouble with SOCOM 2 online clan games with spectators giving away the other teams position, not alot you can do. However, you can be a bit of a crafty devil, using your position as a means to be unpredictable (drastic direction changing), or predict where the enemy is coming from.
 
Anyone up for a GTPlanet war on Friday evening? It'll be my first day online with this game so I'll not be great, but hopefully a few of you will turn up to show me the ropes!
Is the game region locked or can everyone play?

I know someone with an IRA tag, and yes I gave out to them as soon as I heard, but thats the first I've heard of UVF :lol: not many will understand that!

Same here tags like those and Im away to annoy!
Best thing is I come higher than those tags in the results.

Yesterdays UVF was funny, I made some jokes, they laughed and then I won the team deathmatch :lol:

Ive seen a UDA tag when a IRA tag was present :lol:


I hate it when your in against a team full of same tags. Seems intimidating :dopey:
 
One of the funniest things I noticed while playing online is that when you hit someone in the head with a grenade, they'll be killed instantly.
It seems like a waste when the grenade then goes off after the person is already dead.
They should give you the option to pick up bricks from the ground for throwing :D

And I also had some easy kills when I didn't move after respawning because I checking out which challenges I still had to complete. A couple of guys from the other team then came near and I could easily kill them before they even knew what hit them.
You can see them, but they can't see you if you don't move after respawning.

I love throwing the Anti Tank grenades and watching them stick to your opponets it's so funny watching them run about trying to shake them off but that ain't going to happen :lol:. One of the very first times I played online I was struck with an Anti Tank grenade and I didn't realise what they were, whilst trying to run away from the grenade icon I noticed that I wasn't able to :odd:. On watching the Kill Cam Replay it highlighted the fact that the grenade was infact stuck to my head :lol: this made my day and I now try to reinact this scenario on my enemies at every oppurtunity I get 👍.

I did notice that when a team mate ran in front of me when I wanted to throw the sticky grenade at the enemy and it got stuck to his head. Luckily it was in core mode, so no harm was done.

This does create the possibility for suicide bombers, without the suicide part :)
 
Does it allow satchels to stick to people this time around? COD4 didn't let us stick C4 to people so we had to charge at people, throw and detonate asap to be a bomber.

Just tried, and no.
It just bounces off the person.
I haven't tried it on the enemy, but it'll probably be the same.

Ah well, the charging, throw-instant detonate bombing it is (or just cooking a 'nade and not throwing it).
 
YAY! Got my first Banzai Ninja Knife Kill (BNKK as I am now calling them) on Castle today. A guy was running uner the small red bridge (with shallow water under it) I sprinted towards him, jumped off the ledge (right at him) as he began to try to take me down mid flight, I turn with his movement (in air!), hit R3 and watch my blade crush, with satisfaction, into his head.

I love ninja knife kills, especially when charging directly at them so they watch you fly through the air and attempt to take you out.
 
I hate those cheating bastards on the Castle map.

What do you mean? I've seen people get on rooftops but I've killed them everytime before they shot everyone (they were to busy like OMG NOBODY CAN GET ME NOW LOLOLOLLOLOLO!!1!!1!!1 *gets shot in the face* ... oh).
 
This particular glitch allows players to go under the level and kill people.
You can't see them and you can't hit them.
You can only see the red mark on the radar when they fire and, when killed by them, you can see them on the killcam

Oh, haven't seen that one yet, I don't particularly like Castle anyway, often ends up as a spawn killing spree, is good when it works properly though.

It can be done on Downfall as well, I've not come across it myself but have seen a video of the downfall glitch.

I seen someone use it on hardcore (the under map glitch)

I won with 16 kills no deaths in one team deathmatch game :)

WOW looked at my ranking compares with top few. Holy Carp!! 10,000+ kills!!! 68 kill streak???

I think these people have lots of time :lol:

I tried to join you earlier but it said the Game No Longer existed, were you doing hardcore mode or anything similar, as because I'm a beginner I don't have access to those yet...

No, I'm a noob to the online too. I'm only on lvl 14 so I havent unlocked Hard core yet. :indiff:
I think I was in a team death match then. I tried to connect with others today but like you it didnt seem to work too often.

@Fujiwara-ku: Not all Irish people are like some of them! I'll probably see you later then.

Im trying my best to prestige on my first CoD game lol, Rank 57 at the momment.
 
It takes a good few tries to get it to connect properly to others, I'd say waiting alone before going into the matches is probably the best way to sync with others. I thought that aspect of the game would be better than it was in 4 but I guess its pretty much the same, lots of lag as well, although that could be more to do with my poor connection speed. I stopped when the PS3 dropped the connection and signed out. I'll be back tomorrow for more though.

Couldnt get into your invites... kept saying about my playlist is newer and you need to update playlist to play....

Well I ranked another level (58 yay)
Trying to fight me Kill/death ratio... wavered 1.07 and 1.08 lol (yes my first CoD, bite me ;))

Since the FG42 was unlocked Ive only been using for the last 4 days already got at the 150 kills and 150 headshots lol I love this gun, then at times it seems unaccurate and you reload after every shot round...
