My turn at the soapbox...
The only NASCAR related Camaro I want, is the IROC Race Cars

. NASCAR is takin way too damned long to implement changes we [the fans] want. We want to cars to look like the street versions. The mid to lay 80's Monte Carlo for instance. Or the '87 Ford Thunderbird that Awesome Bill drove NASCAR nuts with, when he had a qualifying speed of 213 mph at Talladega, QUALIFYING!!!. Thus ushering this dreaded restrictive plate era! Or Jeff Gordon's T-Rex Monte Carlo? The car that was so illegally legal, NASCAR told them to "never bring that car back". Anything this side of 2000 just looks terrible.
NASCAR used to have a rule that there was a required amount of production based cars made if manufacturers wanted to use something ground breaking. Such as the Super Bird.
This garbage that if they "make them look just like production cars, they won't be safe", is a load of horse manure. Can you say V8 Supercars??? Then they'll say certain manufacturers will have an aero advantage. Ford had a severe aero disadvantage with that awful looking Taurus. Other cars had to be reduced to Ford's inept level, instead of Ford stepping up their game. Jack Roush is still a whinny old fart even today!!! Go fly a plane Jack!

One thing I support is that PD really needs to flex some muscle with their Super GT license.
But TBH, I really like the NASCAR's, they are quite the hoot to drive. But this CAMARO is also Nationwide, not NASCAR. ( to be technically correct. )
Nationwide IS too NASCAR!!!! The cars in GT5 are NASCAR Sprint Cup series race cars, their top level series. NOOBS, ugh!!! I guess people don't bother to read car descriptions.
I step off tue soapbox now.
