I have two accounts. Can I back them both up on a single thumb drive, or will the saves over-write the current save? Should I use two thumb drives?

It will over-write when using one USB stick.

I have 2 accounts and use 1 USB stick, just think about how your saving and remember to double check before you delete data lol

You should use two thumb drives.

The utility backs up to the save game file to the same folder using the same name. So yes, it always overwrites any existing save.

I have two aswell, you might want to try to put the 'save' on your computer and then switch them around because you cannot have two data saves on one thumb drive...

you can also save to a different user on your ps3. i have a fake user just for storing game save files.

Yes, you can use the same USB drive, you just need to rename the folder the first game file resides in so that the PS3 doesn't overwrite the existing file.

EDIT-of course, this is not the best or safest way... using 2 sticks, or saving the information on a computer then pulling what you need onto the USB drive would be best.

Yes you can like racer39658 said. You just need to rename the folder before backing up another file so it doesn't overwrite the previous one.

In my case, what I did was have two usb drive and an SD card in my PS3 so I can save three times without renaming. LOL do I hear mass duping.
