What??? One of your special event videos actually shows a real race! Good job!
Well for once, I had something that wasn't quite that overkill (Setup is super understeery so trying to throw a Default setup from the JGTC cars with minimal modification wasn't the play here). While its build I do like, its far from the destroyer I want it to be.

My biggest challenge for this week is the Skyline GT-R - One-Make race. There is no way a completely stock GT-R can win this so I thought, can it be done in the new Z-tune with only one added part?

So after numerous trial and error tests I found a potential win by only adding a High-RPM Turbocharger. The rest is stock bringing the PP to a grand total of 643.08.

After what felt like 100 attempts, 700+ kms later I managed to get a win with a CRB. 🥵

I did the GT-R one make (easy) with stock Z-Tune and RS tyres and got CRB...

Not a bad run, other than the SF race.

Here are my cars for this week:

Jimny Cup: Suzuki Jimny Sierra JC. Sport components and FC suspension + low rpm turbo. Easy win, bit OP, handles OK.
Schwarzwald League: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG '10. Racing hard tires, weight reduction. Easy win.
Nissan Skyline GT-R One-Make: GT-R V-spec II R32 '94. Tuned with racing components to around 700PP. Easy win. First try was with an engine swapped KPGC10, but that thing was not happy on the banked corners in my current tune.
Vision GT Trophy: Audi e-tron VGT. Just enough to beat the Genesis in lap 4. Tried it first with a detuned Ferrari VGT, lap 1 was great but after the hybrid runs out it got no chance being as detuned as it needs to be....
Super Formula: Picked the '19 Honda with a '24 Fernando livery. RM, full blast, no stop and thus won it easily. Trust the brakes and the aero... This layout only has 6 braking points. T1 -> +- 75m 4th gear, T3 -> 65-70m 4th gear, T7 (just before the bridge) drop to 3rd braking right after you exit T6, T8 -> just after 100m 4th gear, T9 no braking just lift a bit., T11 after the long straight -> 100m drop to 3rd, exit in 4th. T12-13-14 full throttle, T15 slight braking at 50m, drop to 5th.

Here you go. Chase Cam replay with onboard info starts at 5m19s.

Thank you for all the effort you made. After one minute of watching I knew what I did wrong. It's been the gearing. I was so fixated on driving the XC, I didn't realize the Sierra is a different car that needs different treatment. I started using second gear and stopped using fourth down the main straight. That made all the difference and the first complete run was the first win. Needed a good couple more attempts for the win with bonus but I made it finally. And overtaking the three leading cars was phenomenal lol ( with a bit of luck ), cutting like a hot knife through butter. :D

Think I'll upload the replay tomorrow, however, I'd like to try the DP-100 at Monza first if I find some time. 🙋‍♂️

P.S. I should mention, I DO NOT ! like riding on the rev limiter ...

Well done! You got it done way quicker than I did. 👏

Yes the two main things I realized were necessary was throwing the car around some of the corners in 2nd, and avoiding 4th up the straight. The straight is actually a hill which is hard to see on a flatsceen and the stock jimny can't get up it in 4th. And yes staying in 3rd the revs are right on the edge of blowing up the engine haha. I don't like it either but 4th has no power on an incline in this car.

Once you master that the hardest part is getting the CRB. You got it way faster than I did. It took me at least an hour of restarts before I finally got it. But I'm a sucker for a good challenge. 😀

Finally got around to the WC. Started at St. Croix. It took a couple of restarts because I tried to drive sf23 like it was a brake to drift car. Unfortunately that doesn't work . So the 3rd time I changed my tactics and was able to win pretty easily. I think like some other folks have posted that configuration of St.Croix actually is pretty fun in those cars.

Next I started to get the regular Genesis VGT but then I remembered the last time I was there with that car that had some unexpected air time on multiple laps so I chose the Genesis VGT Gr.1. I started at the highest ppm and A couple of times I felt like I might get airborne again so I switched to my Sardegna setup and won

Next for the GTR race I got the MPIII Z tune for an enjoyable race

Then I took the CTR3 slapped so RH tires on to get it close to 700 pp and did the reverse High Speed Ring. That is a fun stable car. I haven't used it in awhile and forgot about how good a car it is.

Finally I took my swapped Jimny to the Grand Highway

Got some carbon brakes for something for the daily ticket. All in all it was fun especially the Super Formula race. On to next week!

Before I could enter the Jimney challenge, I had to finish the Jimney Café menu first. My practice sessions with a heavy tuned Civic engined Jimney was quite eventful.

The R33 is a fantastic beast.

At Monza there's an alternative route you can take but you might get investigated by the marshalls...if they can dodge that road block at 300kmh incoming. I don't like VGT races
Autodromo Nazionale Monza_.webp

I also don't like Formula races. I'm more for the legendary / true sports cars between the late 80's,90's and 2010's. But I thought a legendary outfit and livery would help the experience.

I currently own less than 20 cars which I tune to my liking. Sold the Mazda VGT and Formula afterwards. The Jimney was scrap material.

This week selection:

-Suzuki Jimny Sierra for Jimny cup at Grand Valley: With a tune more focused on the suspension and just a few tweaks to power it was a pleasure to drive, easy win CRB
-BMW M2 competition for German race on HSR: Fully tuned M2, a beast that defeated everyone with CRB included
-GT-R R32 Nismo with R5 Nismo engine swap for HSR: Powerful and well planted, took P1 at lap 3, no CRB as a few contacts with other cars happened
-Porsche VGT spyder for VGT race on Monza: Easy win, a bit challenging car on a track where it is easy to make mistakes, no CRB.
-Honda SF23 for SF race at Saint Croix: Fun race, I have to be one of those 4 weirdos that love to race on Saint Croix🤣🤣, some small accidents prevented me to get the CRB but the race was won.
