Can someone buy me one of these?

Well, of course, but if you have enough money, why not go for it?
...because you could get a much nicer car. I don't really understand your question, I guess. I'm not saying it's a bad car; I like Integras - but call it $30,000 for a built-up 10 year old 'teg seems a lot of money.

Here's one.

I also found a dozen year-old 350Zs in that price range, or a low miles Quattro A8, or this.

If I was buying a sports car for that kind of money, I, personally, would go for a 350Z or even a WRX STi, but if I was rich, why not spend $25,000 on something like that?

Maybe he just loves Integras. I know this guy who has poured thousands into his Honda Accord. I keep asking him, "Why? Accords are slow, why waste your time and money?" He'd always say, "Because I love this car."

I can see me doing that with my Mini. I'll probably spend much money on making it more fun to drive and (maybe) make it faster. But it's still only 998cc, so it'd be easier to sell it and buy a 1.3 Cooper.

So long as it puts a smile on my face I don't care how fast it is.

My 2 pennies: the Integra was quite nice but I didn't like the Civic.

EDIT: Sums up this thread. From bash.org
<pakman> opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink
<goatasaur> but they're fun to poke at
