Oh so close on this one, and using the DFGT "paddles" are just too small to use MT for those tight turns required.

Any AT suggestions? Thanks.

PS: I drive with my hands at 11 and 3 o'clock.

Yes, I did it by 6 tenths in auto.

I have since switched to manual.

So there's hope then. Just have a tough time driving with one hand to use the shifter with the DFGT.

Use the paddle shifters bro, its a hundred thousand times easier. 👍

I'll just have to move my hands on that one I guess. Sounds so easy... Thanks for words of advice.

Mods you can delete this one, just sort of a rant borne out of frustration. Thanks.

I've done it with a DS3, automatic, ABS:1, Active Steering: Low & TCS: 0 (or 1?).

It's just practice & get used to the car. Try to get a smooth line, use the full width of the street & be very smooth with the throttle. :dopey:👍

Thanks for the tips everyone.

Here's all I have left to plat:

- This pile o' crap
- AMG Intermediate (full lap)
- Dream Drifter
- Vettel

This weekend, so far, did the GT-R world record, 6 of the AMG challenges, car collector (1007 unique cars), and that awful (but actually fun) night Lambo at Toscana (crank up the brightness and slide slide slide!).

I know there's a drift forum, but man I have always strived to keep the car UNDER control, so that drift trophy is gonna be tough for me. Best is about 6,000 at Toscana in the C4. Argh...

From memory, i think i used AT on Eiger Grand Tour (reaching for the shifter kept making me crash) but it took me quiet some time to gold. Probably longer then Nurburgring Vetel...

I do a fair bit of drifting and at first thought i hoped the dream drifter trophy would be a nice challenge. Unfortunately, found it ridiculously easy to get.
My 1st attempt in sector drift on tsukuba in my fully modded (untuned) Lexus GS300 and DFP i got it. TBH, any car will do it and it just comes down to sticking to the racing line with a resonable angle.

If it's too hard with your DFGT, just do it with a DS3... much easier while learning 👍
