Yes you can, I have a gold one that was originally green.

Yes, you can paint on Jaguar XJ13.

I know everyone has already answered your question but a cool colour to paint one is Silver Chrome Metallic, I think that's the name. It makes it look like it's finished in brushed aluminium, very cool.

That's what I painted mine. It looks great.
