Cannot upload liveries.

When editing the livery there is an option "save'. I press it. After a bit it gives me the option to upload it. I press yes but nothig.

I did the same and it Uploaded just fine.
 
Try a few times, I had to do it three or four times before it worked, the servers may still be a little buggy.
 
I have the same issue. It saves fine, uploads fine and after those steps it prompts 'Failed to create livery'. Does anybody know if it perhaps is a Vision car issue? I try to apply it to the SRT Tomahawk VGT.

I created a livery for the FT-1 VGT and had no issues, as said above it could be servers being buggy or your connection, give it a few more attempts it should work eventually.

Tried about 12 times. Deleted the livery, changed the name and specifications. Fails every time. I'll try again tomorrow.
 
Having same issue. On a Gr4 Mustang livery, helmet, and suit. It says Upload Complete and then when you click okay is says "Failed to Create Livery" and then it doesn't actually apply it to whatever you are working on.

I just tried a couple more times and it seemed to work eventually.
 
For some strange reason it worked for me on the beta (only on the last day - Friday). I havrn't got GT Sport yet so I don't kniow if this issue is going to persist when I buy the game tomorrow.

Go to the garage, and go to the option where you find all the liveries. Select one of them (they are saved there) and press OK. It worked for me.
 
I’m having this issue, it might be a file size issue? I put way too many stickers on it. It should work still though they have limits on sticker usage
 
So I made a paint job with over 400 decals. When I try to upload the livery it says “failed to communicate with server” and then “failed to upload livery” so I can’t use it. I spent so long on this lol... I tested on a copy of it, if I removed about 150-200 stickers it will load, which makes it feel like a very annoying file size issue. If the game can’t handle letting me use the paint job on a car, it shouldn’t let me do it in the first place. I hope someone sees this and it gets fixed...

My Raybrig NSX had 427 layers and was put online... Not so complex as yours, though (line and letters mostly)

Mine is doing the same thing but if you go to .. home .. change car livery , you can put the livery on car there.

Update:
I kept getting the same error, but checked my library > car livery and there it was 2 dozen times for every time I tried. Apparently it was a false error. I was able to share from there and apply from the garage.

If you’re having the same issue, Check to see if it’s doing it anyway
 
When you "save" it creates a copy even it you don't upload. I usually skip upload until I'm finished but save several times just in case. I also see several copies of the livery doing it that way so it has not necessarily been a false negative.
 
I’m having the same issue but now it says it saved but it doesn’t show up at all in my livery’s in home. What is going on??? I made a few the other day that saved fine but every time without fail it doesn’t show up at all in my livery’s yet they are there when I go to edit livery’s and open design...
 
This is so friggen frustrating because I have uploaded heaps of decals but my creations can not leave the editer. Why won’t anything show up in my library when it clearly says saved? Please someone help me!!!

Same here, hopefully there's a workaround

Edit: no word of a lie, as I sent that message I found a potential work around. If you upload the livery, but uncheck apply to vehicle, it works. You can then apply the livery later.

Edit:2 looks like it only worked once. Cannot upload liveries or photos due to "problem communicating with the server".
However I can race online with no issues and use custom decals

Tried also to upload a helmet and a suit, only the helmet worked...
I can't even apply the liveries on my cars. I can save them but I cannot find them in the garage livery. I can only apply other people's livery.
I admit I don't have the best connection but it's good enough to race online and explore people's livery in the library. So I have no idea why it doesn't work.
Anyone have an idea ? Looks like it's a common problem. PD should probably make a fix in the next patch.

I had this problem too. Plugged the PS4 into my router (instead of using Wifi), and it 100% solved the problem.

My internet connection is good ..

... it just seems the PS4 prefers uploading files when its plugged in... haven't had a single problem since.
