Any recommendations on which one to use and how to set it up? This event is giving me some difficulty.

Whatever car will win it.

If you choose a Super GT car, it'll get a walk in the park in stock form, and if you are not confident enough, fit racing soft on the car or upgrade to stage three turbo, which will be overkill.

You can choose whatever japanese car too, LMS cars, like Mazda 787B or Toyota Minolta will cruise through the championship.

And if you are not feeling manly enough, even the X1 will crush the competition.

Okay thanks, for the first event that says its raining (when really its not) what tires would you recommend? Intermediate?

You could have probably used the search function to find a thread answering this already.

Anyway, if you want to just win, any JP car can enter if I remember right. So you can just borrow a 787B or even X1 from a friend and win.

If you want to use a fair car, I would suggest the Nissan GT-R Super GT's, Lexus Super GT's, or the Nissan Nismo Z Super GT. They are easier to handle than the NSX's. If you still have trouble with any of those cars, you can just buy a stage 3 turbo and Racing Soft tires for them. That should make the event pretty easy.

As for the set up, set your downforce to maximum. That's the most important thing. For other settings, just search the GT5 Tuning section of the forum.

The rain in A-Spec isn't set to realistic, so Racing Soft tire is probably the best for the rain. Also, it does rain on the track, just not all the time. It's all about luck. If you don't want to drive in the rain, quit the race and restart until you don't see clouds in the sky.

Actually Racing Soft tires grip more than rain tires on the game, since in A-Spec mode the grip reduction is set to "low", instead of "real".

Thanks for all the tips, I'll give it a shot.

It seems like we have a consensus lol

Nismo Z is the fastest stock GT500.

I prefer the GT-R and Castrol Supra.

On softs tires the NSX is a blast.

Supra handles best with more down force available. If you can add power and want to do so. This be the car to use.
