I bought the Petronas SC430 for this event, but I found the car that I like to use most is the Pennzoil R34 GT-R

I just bought the 06 Nismo GT-R (609 PP?) That was WAY to easy right off the shelf. I have been buying and using all the NSX's and GTR's.

Even with running against the same GT-R I passed him at the beginning of lap 4. I will say that this car is sweet and allows me to consitantly run 1:58's without thinking all that much but is sure takes the challenge out of the event.

Still love the Diablo most. The NSX's second and the GTR last. Have not tried the Lexus yet.

Try YellowHat YMS Supra, it's premium and because it isn't as fast as Xanavi Z, it gives you a really good challenge.

i bought and tried about 7 cars now, and all of them do the trick. with racing hards an no oil change i manage to pass the first guy shortly before the chicane on the 4th lap on nurburgring most of the times.

the nismo z handles great, so does the nsx. i like the skyline too, though. toms castrol supra is fine, too (but cockpit design sucks :p)

what i don´t get is why the nismo z has like 100nm more power than the other cars. they´re all about 609... i thought cars should be all the same?!

I won at Indy with Tom's Supra by .008 my first try. Closest race I've had in along time!

Here's a little "Old vs New" in the Super GT seasonal.

Did indy with the nomad diablo, all the other races with a stock LOCTITE ZEXEL GTR (on racing mediums)

Ive tried a few different gt500 cars for this but I always keep going back to my WOODONE TOM'S SUPRA '03. I can hit a 1:32:077 lap time on the Eifel and no other car comes close.
I dont care to much on this one about the challenge of it im just after quick lap times.

EDIT: just set a 1:30:071 with Diablo so thats my new fastest lap at the eifel.

Did you buy one? i didn't think anyone could be that crazy  lol

I happen to like the Petronas Lexus. I can run 1:59s on Nurb GP track on racing hard tires and I've dipped into the 1:08s on Deep Forest reverse (RS tires). But, mine is still new and power is building up.

PS. I would never adulterate a GT500 car by adding a dumbo, er turbo.

What's your NOMAD setup?

Mine handles like a pig compared to the NSX...

...brakes towards the front, front end low, raise the ass end way up in the air.

I tried a bunch, but my favorite is the Petronas SC Lexus. Cool sounding motor and quick. It's amazing how well these cars handle, even when sticking an uber turbo on the engine.

My favourite is the Tom's Castrol Supra. 730k or so from the UCD one oil change and then for some easy wins. Used the stock tyres (hard), had to turn on SRF for the Nurb but oitherwise no assists needed aside from ABS 1. 👍

Same, I also liked how it looks. My first Super GT car and I don't plan on buying anymore nor selling it!

I use Honda NSX Epson Super GT '08

Nissan XANAVI HIROTO GT-R (JGTC) '01 from UCD and Lexus PETRONAS TOM'S SC430 (SUPER GT) '08 from Dealership for me.:)

If new, go for the Tom's Supra. It's cheaper than other Super GT's and always available.

I am using the Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R '08 which handles great and the power is awsome. Laguna Seca was a fun challenge to get the win and in Nurburgring I only managed 3rd. I am using hard racing tyres.

try it in on of the stock Lexus S430's. it gets a little tougher

I prefer a couple of cars, my favorite SuperGT (GT500) ars are:

- Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R '08
- Nissan CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R '08
- Honda TAKATA DOME NSX '06
- Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z ' 06

I have done it with any of the premium SuperGT cars, except the Supra's.

I recommend the WOODONE SUPRA '03, with this car I passed the Z at the chicane on the end on lap 4. All other cars I only caught and pass after the halfway mark on lap 5. Oh yeah, it's stock with Racing Hards. V8 Working.

I used the ENEOS SC430 with the high RPM turbo. I recommend using the OCD JGTC cars that came way back instead, saves some money. I tried it with the Castrol NSX and it was able to match with the others.

Apparently, the 2 GT500 stealth cars can't be used too. Bummer.

I used the 2001 Toyota au Cerumo Supra. I just love the livery on this car and found a great tune for it.

I have a preference for FR cars and this one is fun to drive. 👍

I'm guessing the other Supras would be similar in handling with this tune as well.

Careful, I've been warned about using that word.

lol... Any car will do the job if you outlay the $950k required...

yeah, the au cerumo Supra is a really cool looking car, and its great to drive.
I've been using it for the seasonals too, I left it just how it came from the UCD (apart from oil change and a car wash...)
Its a good challenge too on racing hard tires, since I'm not that good and can't seem to do a lap without any mistakes...

Amuse handles great but my tires are wearing it seems. Any thoughts?

You can borrow my 650PP nissan xanavi nismo gt-r if you like, it's easy win everytime.

I slapped a turbo on the AU Ceramo Supra and I usually was in the lead by lap 3,but I just got a Motul GT-R from a level 19 ticket last night so I guess I'll use that now.:)

I took the Lamborghini NOMAD .... easy race.
:D
