Iam a kinda new to cars just want some on e to explain to me how milege works if theres too much milage what can happen to the car? Because ive always wonderd why people always ask for the milage on a used car.

Are you talking about real cars or cars in GT3 or how mileage might be implemented in GT4? Try searching next time, im sure there's tons of info on this.

People ask for mileage as it shows how far the car has travelled...

The general rule of thumb is the more mileage the car has on it... the less it is worth... because it's more likely to go wrong.

Well, once you get a new car out of the parking lot it greatly depreciates in value. And this depreciation is different for each car depending on their desirabilty and market value.

Depends on how old the car is...

An average amount of miles is about 10,000 per year in the UK...

Less than this is good... more than this is bad...

Obviously cars like Passats (I.e. rep-mobiles) usually have about 25,000 miles per year or more on them...
