HOLD ON...

WTF!? I just looked back at those pictures in the initial post. The Chrome Line PREORDER Collector's Edition cars for GT5 are available in-game to purchase? Are you JOKING ME? WOW!

That's ridiclous. The idea of transferring my GT5 exclusives over to GT6 was just awesome. They go and give every customer who's got the GT5 CE the middle finger like that? That's pretty pathetic. How could they do that? They should at least lock the cars so only folks who own the Chrome Lines can obtain them in GT6. Probably through Save Data info or some other means. Or we could just transfer them over, of course.

This is RIDICULOUS. They already took one step towards retardation by giving everyone a digital version of the GT5 CE Kyosho GTR that came with every CE.

Sad.

Wait, you're telling me I have to pay $60 for a game that has cars and tracks in it that were in the previous version, and the one before that, and the 4 before that?! THAT'S RIDICULOUS..............no it's not. All DLC that was available in GT5 is available for everyone in GT6. Is that too much for you as well?

You're lost...

I know right? I really want to be better than everyone else too...I hate how cars from a completely different game will now be available to everyone, just ridiculous.

It's... the novelty that really counts, more than anything. If you TRULY interpret it as being 'better than everyone else', then you may just need therapy. It's a video game, dude. You can't prove you're better than someone else by driving around a car you have, that no one else in the game has, except for the people who also took your route of course...

Lost in... interpretation, perhaps?

Leave that novelty in gt5...and yes, it is a video game thanks for clearing that up. Those comments hurt I must say

Edit: btw, sarcasm guy;) I know its hard to tell with text sometimes

If they can't be carried over to GT6, yeah, they should remain in GT5 only for those who've acquired them originally.

Sarcasm is almost completely undetectable through text, so...

My statement was so ridiculous I didn't think one could construe it as anything other than sarcasm. Its a different game completely, not an expansion or anything like that, so it really doesn't matter. Your saying if a Porsche was made as a CE addition in GT5, that those cars should not be in GT6? The only difference is that these cars say "chrome line" in the title...that's it, which a name is irrelevant IMO. I really can't understand why it bothers you so much that others can now use the GT5 CE cars in a different game? It doesn't effect you the least other than your lack of being "special". Reply as you like because it will not change how ridiculous I believe it to be.

Alright, now i'm totally confused about your supposed sarcasm. So i'll just completely disregard that.

Anyway, it's really, really, SUPER simple. Those cars were cars which came with the GT5 CE. They were only available through the CE. It completely and totally defeats the purpose of releasing those cars in the first place. It's like Ford producing the original number of Shelby GT500 KRs they produced. Then laying dormant, then after some time, mass-producing them.

What the HELL's the point, then? It may as well have been in the dealerships in GT5 to begin with. it's that simple. What's the point of making it out to be so special, when, ultimately, it is rendered NOT special in the end? Come up with some new, special cars to put in GT6. Or, don't bother with them in the first place.

If your going to use a real life scenario, ford would have to make those Shelby's again in a different life...or dimension (however you want to look at it) as GT6 is not a sequel to GT5. If it were to be a sequel, I could sort of see your complaint. It would totally and completely defeat the purpose of the CE if those cars were released as DLC (free or otherwise) later in GT5s life.

Seems to me that you're the one establishing how special they were "supposed" to be, rather than what PD/Sony actually said. PD never said or even implied that those cars were never going to be available to anyone else ever again (and they actually gave quite a few of them out for community events and whatnot); and since they weren't going to let you use anything from GT5 in GT6, the alternative is no one having them. Your metaphor is also a completely different scenario, because Ford not only didn't make the GT500, but it wasn't even a limited edition/exclusive item (to wit, they made so many of them that they couldn't even sell all of them in the later years).

Now you're not makin' ANY sense. I was at first only confused at your apparent sarcasm. But, anyway... um. Yeah. The Chrome Lines came out as a GT5 CE bonus. They're in GT6 now. That doesn't make any sense. End of story. And how in the hell is GT6 NOT a sequel to GT5? It's... the successor to GT5. THE PHUUUUUUUUUUUUUQUE?!

I put it pretty simply...if you don't understand I apologize. GT6 is the defiantly the successor to GT5.....but its not a sequel. They have two different meanings, hints my word choices

GT6 and GT5 are not the same game. It makes perfect sense. End of story.

Man, you're making such a big deal over these cars being given to everyone in a completely different game. I fear what your reaction was when two of the chrome line cars were given out for free to Japanese players a mere month after GT5 came out.

Im glad the two Lotus Europas are under 40k. I might use my my 1mil Cr. to get the A110 a few other classics.

I actually am not making a big deal out of it... It's just funny to see "Collector's Edition" cars from the first game, in the new game. And that's that. It's beyond ridiculous. Period. And there is no logical rationale for it.

And this has dragged on for far too long. Peace. I'm out. ;)

Sorry if this question has already been asked. I asked in the Q/A, but it got buried... Does anyone know how much the resale value of the cars are? (As in what percentage is taken off the original price) Hope it doesn't end up like GT5 where some cars have no value at all...

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/1969-chevrolet-camaro-red-devil-pro-touring-review

Building the Red Devil put a six-figure dent in Stielow’s savings and consumed 24 months of his evenings and weekends, time and money he considers well spent. “This is my ultimate hot rod, the best Camaro I’ve built to date,” he notes. “It’s fast, it handles well, and it’s a comfortable cruiser.”Stielow has no intention of selling Red Devil. If you want a clone, he’ll refer you to his allies Kyle and Stacy Tucker at Detroit Speed. Their estimated cost? $250,000.

Im about to buy the Red Devil Camaro and I read some info about it. The price in game is 750, 000Cr. In real life, if it was to sell, this would be the price.
