Car properties (like weight or bhp) not shown?

[MarvelousMac]

Why are some of the cars' properties not shown in the dealerships? Instead three dashes ("---") are displayed. What does it mean?

I tried searching for it, but sadly didn't find anything useful.

Thanks.

This is usually with tuning cars and wont be revealed until you buy so its a bit of a risk.

I think its that they never tested the cars that don't show power figures or weight. Most likely because they were prototypes or the tuning company didn't want to reveal power figures. But who knows for sure?

So are they revealed after you buy the car? Or it just stays unknown...?

Dealerships show "official" figures, basically what the manufacturer publicly claims. These may be wrong or missing for a variety of reasons, such as Japanese sports cars not showing figures higher than 276bhp, figures never being announced for prototypes, manufacturers exaggerating etc. Once you buy the car it will show in your garage with the actual values used by the game.

All right. Cheers.
