Car Spotting Scavenger Hunt Redux. Round Nine on now!!!!!!

I can only go spotting on a Saturday, making it impossible for me to complete any rounds. Spotting the day before a new set of things to find makes it harder, as you don't know what you will be looking for. So, anyone mind? Put it this way, I'm at a disadvantage.
 
I think the rule is there for not spotting a car outside the start of the round. I went back and took a picture of that electric Golf even though I just tool a picture of it a few days earlier.
 
It would only be fair to do it that way. I have a lot of Ferrari pictures from not long ago that would eliminate a lot of the categories for me already.
 
Okay, but I don't know for how long I can play along if you can't spot on a saturday.
 
Maybe we should change the start dates to go from Monday to Sunday?
 
Damn, that makes all the cars I saw today useless. I was going to use the 458 for the red car and the SLR for the fastest. :lol:

Yeah, we can do that. We'll start that for round 4 since I think people have already gotten a few spots for this. We'll go from today until Sunday. Then we'll have Monday start the new round from then on.

In regards to this round, I'm finding that the Bonus car, the current gen Jag XJ is insanely popular in Houston. I've met my quota like 5 times over in the span of a few short hours.

Ya the bonus car is pretty plentiful, I picked it in hopes people could at least start scoring some points. The road going rally car and a UPS vehicle should be pretty easy to get too.

Not 100% sure but I guess it's the car's original (sometimes limited) top speed. Like 250 km/h for the AMGs and such, correct me if I'm wrong.

It doesn't have every car but it helps, found that my spot gets about 280 km/h, still have to find something faster. Probably a Porsche, don't think I'll find anything else.
 
Original equipment, basically saying the car has to be completely stock.
 
So I now have everything. I just got back from getting my rally car and UPS truck. I'm gunning for max points for this one.
 
I'm enjoying following this thread, though I don't really have the time or means to compete. You might want to be careful with some choices though, eg. I would imagine UPS vans are widespread in the US but they have much less of a presence here in the UK, and potentially no presence in certain other countries. So immediately that gives an advantage to those in the US.

Also I find it just a little odd that the person who chooses also gets to compete, although i'm sure everyone plays nice :)
 
Well I saw this on the 21st, aboiut 4 and a half hours away from the rally. This car won it too.

I have an SLR ready. Sadly, it turns out it isn't that fast at all. Hoping to see a local black Veyron this Saturday, and I'll be posting on Sunday.

I did too but that's the only picture I've got. I normally see a totally blacked out Civic around my area but I've been watching lots and haven't seen it :(

I was going to try out this round but one picture isn't going to get it done.
