There may be an issue with Number 5 - Some of us aren't old enough to own a car yet.
Let's say you own a really generic looking car. Can we still use a vehicle that actually does look very similar to ours? I think that would could yield some funny comparisons/results.
I'm trying to think of cars that have bad power to weight ratios. Any ideas?
So in terms of power to weight ratio, do you take the smallest engine or how does it work? Think I might have found a winner![]()
Yes but what I meant was for example a Ford Fiesta, do you take the 1.25i (60 hp), 1.4i (96 hp) or 1.6i (120 hp)? It's pounds per horsepower.
Let's take a '12 Corvette, it has 430hp and had a curb weight of 3,208lbs. So take 3,208/430 and you get 7.46 horsepower per pound. What you want to look for is a really heavy car that's under powered.

Totally unrelated but I saw a Panamera Turbo goin down a local road today, It was totally unexpected and came out of nowhere, I thought that was pretty awesome. (sorry no pics, it was white)
Everywhere? Wow, I never see any foreign cars that cost over $90k, I saw a GTR in seattle in march but that's all I've seen in quite a few years.
