You might not be able to complete that category, there are still 7 other points available to obtain. Remember only 5 points won last week's round so even missing one category doesn't remove you from the running. I'll defer to astrodude for the final ruling since this is his gig though and he made the rules.

I'll see what I can do, although I usually use the weekend to go look for cars it'll be tough.

I saw one of those hideous Countryman S's this morning. Too bad I didn't see this sooner.

I'd enter it but I can already tell you there aren't any more white FC GXLs in town. I would have killed that Initial D contest though.

Well luckily there are tons of white first gen Tundra's round here. And for some reason the Countryman seems to be quite popular here as well. I've already got a picture for the bling wheels.

As for the discrepancy with the Doppelganger category. I guess we'll let it stay. Jai, do you have any relatives with a vehicle? You could use their car for that entry if possible.

I'm trying to think of cars that have bad power to weight ratios. Any ideas?

Lots of the old stuff such as the Dodge Mirada comes to mind.

The V6 was 3373 lbs totalled out with something like 85 bhp. The V8 wasn't much more impressive with only 120 bhp.

Let's say you own a really generic looking car. Can we still use a vehicle that actually does look very similar to ours? I think that would could yield some funny comparisons/results.

Nope it needs to be the same car, same color, same trim.

And sure, the Countryman SD could work too, I wasn't aware there was a diesel one out.

So in terms of power to weight ratio, do you take the smallest engine or how does it work? Think I might have found a winner :)

Best I've come up with the MINI Countryman Cooper, non-S, it's woefully under powered and weighs as much as a house.

It's pounds per horsepower.

Let's take a '12 Corvette, it has 430hp and had a curb weight of 3,208lbs. So take 3,208/430 and you get 7.46 horsepower per pound. What you want to look for is a really heavy car that's under powered.

Yes but what I meant was for example a Ford Fiesta, do you take the 1.25i (60 hp), 1.4i (96 hp) or 1.6i (120 hp)?

Whatever the engine the car has, if you can't figure out what engine it has in it based off it's trim then just assume it's the highest horsepower one.

I would kill the Doppelgänger category; I have a friend with an E30 that's the same year, color and trim.

There's about 5 Accord VTis in my town in the same colour as mine (yay for having a common vehicle!). If only they had the optional 15" alloys...

Totally unrelated but I saw a Panamera Turbo goin down a local road today, It was totally unexpected and came out of nowhere, I thought that was pretty awesome. (sorry no pics, it was white)

I can go down to KL and snap pictures of the Panamera. They're everywhere now!

Anyway, this sounds like a really tough round but I may secure the Doppelgänger category because my car is kind of... Everywhere too!

Everywhere? Wow, I never see any foreign cars that cost over $90k, I saw a GTR in seattle in march but that's all I've seen in quite a few years.

Anyway the Doppelgänger is not gonna happen from me  I haven't seen a single other Mustang with a glass roof since I bought it

Sorry for being a little bit off-topic in this thread but, yeah they are seriously everywhere. KL is slowly turning into Dubai and will soon to be filled with supercars, super saloons etc...

I'll try my best to find the time and find more cars for this round. I know they're all hiding out there somewhere

I'll have more luck finding a Ferrari before I find an electric car.
The city has parking spaces left open for electric cars. Still waiting for the first regular car to park there with a piece of cable sticking out of the fuel cap

Ya I see a ton of black Focuses but they aren't Titaniums.

Apparently everyone in Oklahoma has a Countryman S. Saw three tonight not even looking.
