I was so exited I did't notice the "6" :dunce:

Nearly identical to the 2013 Dodge Viper

Long curved low nose + angled rear end.
I think as others suggested it will be a new Nissan Z.
This one will probably be bigger than the 370Z, and more similar to the 350Z.
I speculate we will be able to drive it in the upcoming demo.

The wing looks too big.

He's saying it may be the next, unseen Z car with similar proportions to that old 350Z. Not that it's that car under the sheet.

I doubt it simply because the HSV was basically a new NSX project that got cancelled and the next NSX design is now ready to replace it in 2015. It wouldn't really make sense for Honda to unveil a road going HSV-010 at this point in time IMO.

Has it been definitely confirmed as a brand new car being launched?

No but it's the only thing that makes sense. I know PD make strange decision but hiding a car under a tarp that everyone has already seen would be bonkers. It has to be something brand new, logically.

Personally I think Kaz is mad enough to do pretty much anything! Haha. I think the low nose and that rear wheel arch and lip on the boot are too much of a coincidence for it to not be the HSV. Only time will tell. :)

The wing is sticking out for the HSV, too.

Obviously. It's a race car. :banghead:

If it is the HSV under there, it would most likely be a production model or road car prototype.

Why does it still feel like it's a 2014 Nissan GT-R you know how we have to have over 9000 of those in the game.

I reckon it just might be a new Nissan Z maybe that concept, but the overall version or maybe a new Nissan silvia as its been a long time.

The car looks a bit stretched out, so I don't think it's either of those. So far, my guesses are the NSX Concept, Audi R8, or the new Viper.

Hi there guys, just went to my local Media Markt and found this:

A guy who works there told me it was the oficial cover, but could be change though.
Found a litle odd since this concept was show in 2011.

Any thoughts?

Seriously? I mean, that concept was used on the film "iRobot" and the Audi R8 was sort of 'born' out of it.

Thank you Perotonia786. 👍

Now we can stop with the prediction of Viper, NSX, C7, HSV, GT-R, 86 GT. :ouch:

I noticed that all the official gran turismo's covers is kaz's cars, so it is a car in his garage (maybe the new vette)
Or, since it has been 15 years of gt, it's maybe the new fair lady z. That's my opinion

Hsv!!!!

The closest one I found is the 86. I really hope we'll be able to find out what it really is. I've been looking through many many cars trying to figure it out.

They seems to have familiar references to the new Nissan Z, the windows look similar as well as the aerodynamic shapes on the body. As Gran Turismo are working with Nissan for GT ACADEMY, this time the car on the front could be a Nissan, but still some of the designs are mock ups, the concept has similar light and rear shapes, but the car in blue is not real.

Very nice and convincing study. I never thought on the new Fairlady, although it makes sense considering the Nissan-Gran Turismo partnership.

The basic lines that most sport coupes follow these days are so similar that it's really hard to tell when most of the car's details are covered by that blue cloth.

I'm so sure its the new Z

I am convinced that it is the Nissan Z too. I will be shocked should it turn out to be anything else.

You win, I agree with everyone else. I figured it would be a japanese make, for all those that thought it was a Ferrari...not sure why they'd think the partnership was that strong to warrant it. I mean MGP and Chevy being on covers make sense but not Ferrari at this time.

Good job on the Z though, it didn't look like the 370 but this new Z is probably the car on the cover. You should get something for guessing it right.
